I love Greenbelt Been there twice. Never been to Power House Mall. I learn a lot from your channel jasper. You’re the best blogger ever. Keep up the good work. Thanks again for loving Philippines.🇵🇭🇺🇸
Since BGC is a privately owned city, there are no hustlers and no sketchballs roaming around. Cleanest city I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world. But the vibe is a bit high society, hard to meet ladies in BGC. Easier in Makati (in my experience) for dating.
Love bgc better than makati . Bgc not too crowded , walkable , everythings there.easy to park your car . Good security. Lots of beautiful girls and more.
I agree with all your points. I would definitely live in Makati again in the Greenbelt or Rockwell but because currently I’m OK financially I think I’ll just stay right where I am.
Yes stay there. Better for you. That’s your base and just travel around . When I go there I park by mitsokoshi cos the garage close at 2am and just walk around everywhere . Stay safe there.
Yes. It’s where i hit it big on you tube technically. Not in Boracay. I was just able to bring my audience back to Boracay for those beach lives and I got my biggest video ever walking and talking on the beach in Boracay that’s currently at 1.5 million. But ya if my money ever got low or I was gonna buy I would probably go to Mandaluyong or Taguig. But yes BGC is just the Top! 🔝
@@JasperinthePhilippines Sure- but why? There are just so many girls in Manila compared to any other city and I honestly did not see nearly as many foreigners as I expected. Are there even less foreigners to girls in Cebu that girls who want a foreigner have to lower their standards in Cebu? Maybe I need to check out Cebu.
@@DD-ss1sl In my experience because Manila has far more good job opportunities so it has less percentage of women who go for foreigners for money. Also for the same reason Manila has far more affluent Filipinos so they can go for that too. Cebu is just poorer overall and lacks job opportunities.
Excellent comparison. I still favor BGC and what you mentioned in your comparison just confirms my choice of BGC even more. Your camera is working great on these night scenes! Very well exposed and the street lights don't muck up the exposure (i.e. darken it too much) like many other cameras do.
I've lived in both area's before. (Legaspi Village & BGC). BGC feels (too) sterile and artificial for me. It is also more expensive but not in my experience not to the extend that you project. I also lived in Ortigas for 2 years. Ortigas is a hidden gem. There are not many expats as compared to BGC or Makati. High end malls (Podium and Shangri-la) and also huge decent malls (SM Megamall, Robinson Galleria, Ayala 30th). Stay around Emerald Ave, ADB Ave or the Shangri-la residences over there and you have the same vibe as greenbelt/legaspi village. But slightly cheaper and more convenience around you. Only thing is nightlife is pretty dull. Some Bars around the Sapphire bloc and there is Metrowalk which has a peculiar vibe. But at night there is usually not much traffic and BGC or Población are just a short taxi ride away.

Yeah, that’s what I told myself when I moved to the Gramercy in Pobla. But honestly, I have my place in Boracay which is total real Philippines province as soon as you walk away from the beach.
Did we watch the same video? Jasper BRIEFLY juxtaposed Manila in general with Cebu City, in general. That was a helpful, and again, brief, notation. Perhaps when Jasper was comparing specific neighborhoods within BGC and Makati, you took those to be different cities altogether? That would be understandable.

@Jasper, you followed through! Very professional and another informative video 👍
Thank you bro
You requested this right?
I appreciate that!
Yes, I requested this video. You’ve actually lived in both places and keep it real. Perfect man for the job!
Thanks
Interested on why Cebu women are more receptive than Manila women. Maybe a video on that and Manila vs Cebu for both 2 week vacation and retirement.
It was just my experience and I’ve seen a lot of guys struggle in Manila, and then settle down in Cebu

Liking the man on the street videos. Maybe you could do a video showing your average daily grind in BGC?
Yeah, I’ve gotten many requests for that

I prefer Makati because it still feels like I'm in PH. The lower price and nightlife is just icing on the cake.
