7:05 honestly, I was so disappointed when I noticed they changed it in the remake. 😂 I love this level mostly for the chant. Same goes for the Skeleton Dance, although it's still funny ahah
Heck, Spyro 2... I loved it as a kid, and discovering that you can have the infinite super flame from your 100% completion to a new save was feeling like I was a true genius breaking the game ! It was my first experience of a kind of new game +, and I beat the game a lot of time. But, boy, those mini-games and added stuff were clunky as hell and, as time goes by, I feel Spyro 1 still holds up as the gameplay is restrictied in its core to plateforming. Spyro 2 puts a lot of contents that goes beyond plateforming, but it lacks the finesse - I think its worse with Spyro 3. Still, the whole trilogy is really nice. But Spyro 2 feels like an incomplete game to me (3 worlds, kinda short) and Spyro 3 suffers of the "Sonic syndrome" in adding characters with less efficient gamefeels. In the end, Spyro 1 gives the most mastered stuff, in my opinion ;) I feel the same with the 3 Tomb Raiders : as an adult, I prefer the very first one :) And I can't wait to see the remastered version of the original trilogy - even if I will surely suffer with TR3 !
Completely missed this series, but everywhere I've worked, I've had men a generation behind me talk these games up with the same effection I still have for the MegaDrive Sonic games. Especially Stuart Copeland's music
Another Great game and another great review. One of my favourite games as a kid. I could never pass the trolley part back then I hated it so much 😂 that escort task on Fracture hills also gave me nightmares
On this very special day: November 2nd, 1999 - November 2nd, 2023 Happy 24th Anniversary to Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!!!🥳🎉🎊 Or shall I say "Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer?"🤔 But anyways, awesome review dude!😄
What Ripto's Rage? He sure was scary. Or Spyro 2, known for the dreaded sharks..... Either way I get ya. The title is scary. At least no more Trouble with the Trolly aye?
I also prefer the first Spyro. From a technical viewpoint, the sequels are probably better but they are also more "childish". Spyro 1 felt more like a fantasy adventure while the other 2 games are more noticeably Kid's games. Which isn't bad... but I prefer the overall atmosphere in the first game.

This might be the first game I tried to play when I was like little under 3 years old! Time sure flies.

Great video! I liked how the review was a walk through the game and the musical countdown was a nice bit too! Subscribed!

Speaking of Mega Drive Sonic games...I'm working on Sonic 3 right now ✌

I've been waiting for this movie for a long time, so I make a cup of coffee and watch it.
Oh god, I got a PTSD flashback from the title alone. I love that level, but fuck that mini-game.

@@ryanleikness3414 Nah, the title of the video
If I had a potato for every time I've 100%'d this game...
I'd have many potatoes.
Do crash bandicoot next 😅
The first time I had even considered capitalism as a child. All thanks to that goddamn bear.

No, no, no! Not the trolley again!
Will there be more Tomb Raider reviews? 😳😅
Eventually
