Hey Nikki, here’s a little life hack for you. If you combine your hooded jacket with a baseball cap, it keeps the hood out of your eyes and gives your face more protection from the rain. 🤷♂️
I'm a grandma in Oklahoma and am usually just a quiet observer. I subscribed to your channel almost a year ago and I love your content. I must say that I really enjoyed this particular video! I too am a tree and bird nerd. (Corvids are my favorite birds.) Thank you for sharing your travel adventures. Keep your joy!
Oh my goodness. My favorite time of year in Alaska. We lived there 37 years. Moved back to the states to take care of my parents. Really miss it. Go back often. ❤❤❤ great video
FINALLY you rode a train! 😁 I've travelled the US, (I'm from UK) with a focus on trains and there are places you've been to and I've thought "Noooo, there's an awesome train right there! You didn't do it!" That Alaskan one is on my list to do. Amazing! Simon 😊
Yes! I wish we had better train access. I was a tour guide in Europe for a few years and train travel was one of my favorite parts taking groups country to country!
You make the best videos!! Your smart/beautiful /cheerful personality/great attitude and just a good person, and thats rare these days. Keep those videos coming, because you really do make for a cheerful day for many people. Thanks .
I can’t believe my wife and I ran into you in Talkeetna!! Thanks for the beer!! She is the one in the big blue winter coat in your snippet from Fairview Inn! That was such a great night!!
You get to do the coolest sponsors! I hope they appreciate you. I love that you have embraced the natural face and are showing young girls they dont need all of that junk on their face. Be blessed!
Thank you!!!! I feel super fortunate to be a part of the BFG family, and they definitely make me feel like they feel the same way about having me 🥰🙏🏼💪🏼
I'm super pumped for the Alaska episode. A bucket list destination for sure, the great wilderness and beautiful. The adventures you get into are so epic. Can't wait till next week. Be safe and happy travels.
The views in Alaska are gorgeous and awesome, the fall colors are beautiful. Thanks for taking us with you on the trip. Sorry your dogs can't be there with you. ☹☹☹☹
Loved Takeetna when we were there a few years ago. Legend has it that it was the inspiration for Cicely, Alaska the location for the great TV show, Northern Exposure!
I am so excited for you. I live in Santa Cruz, California and my daughter moved to Homer Alaska, which I will be visiting next year so beautiful. Homer, Alaska is the halibut of the capital of the world.
Welcome here. If you go out Stampede Road (North of Denali entrance out of Healy) to camp, that is where "Into the Wild" Chris McCandles died. My husband did a lot of construction out that way, punching in roads for people, building pads, and constructing their dream getaway cabin for them.
I was only missing two of the fifty states Alaska and Hawaii…my daughter surprised me with a trip to Alaska and I’m with you! It was my favorite state above all! ♥️♥️♥️I love Alaska!
Matt, Maybe you can do a cameo on a "save the strays" video with Nikki. Your millions of viewers could really help Camper Cares raise awareness and money for wounded strays that need help and food and forever homes. Please do it for the dogs.
I'm happy for you Nikki, been watching you from the beginning, your an inspiration for alot of us so happy you can make a living doing the lifestyle you have. Love it! Have fun, safe travels.😊
Just a little side note. When I went there in 1977 none of that existed. You drove down the highway and had to watch for a brown sign for the turn off for the park. I missed it the first time and had to back up. I’ve made two driving trips to Alaska and have flown up once and rented a vehicle for two weeks. I would like to make one more trip. Alaska has changed so much between my trips. There used to be a lot of road houses along the highway where you could stop for gas, groceries and a meal. My last trip in 2014 I was surprised by the number of them that had closed. It was a great way to get local information and to meet the locals. And in the day I was offered several jobs.
I’ve been watching you for a number of years and and love living vicariously through your adventures. Alaska is gorgeous isn’t it. My son worked up there in Juneau and all around so I was very lucky to experience it also.
OMG Nikki it was so hard to watch this video and I am sure your next few of Alaska. It’s not because the video wasn’t good because it was. it’s for the fact that I was just there in June of this year for two weeks. Flew into Fairbanks went through Denali down by Talkeetna and Anchorage and then on a cruise. I want to go back so bad and you make me miss it even more.😂 you just make me wanna be there right now. I will get back there.
I love that Toyota Sequoia Trd exactly like mine. It's great having a AWD van, AWD motorhome and a Toyota 4 x 4. Life is good! I hope you like that big Toyota I love mine. Update oh, I see that's its a 4 Runner like my husbands.
I've been to Alaska 3 times, halibut fishing mostly, but last trip was a fly out to Egegit to salmon fish on a river. We were in a camp with tents, so very cold, but so we exciting too. There were Kodiak brown bears all around us each day but never bothered us. I'm so happy you get to experience wild Alaska!
Very weird seeing you places that I spend a ton of time as a local adventurous Alaskan. Denali Highway is always busy, but especially in the fall because of hunting and berry picking opportunities. It's the most magical and beautiful place to be in September.
Wow, double rainbow and those mountains just breathtaking gosh, I’d love to drive down that road. Sure appreciate as always. You sharing Nikki. This is just awesome.❤️👍👍😎
Nikki, you are so much more adventurous than I'd ever imagine being!!! Thank you for taking us with you. I would be freezing🥶🥶 and miserable. All alone too...wow Such a beautiful area and a double rainbow🌈🌈🌞
Been to all the states. Alaska is my favorite. Only other place that equals it is Iceland. Both rugged, remote and can't get either one out of your head. Love the way you show the hassle of doing some things. Not sugar coated. Setting up your tent was fun to watch. Real experiences we all face.
Awesome adventure! That gold panner boy sure knows how to find gold. I tried it myself many years ago with a friend and found a few flakes. Thanks for bringing us all along!
My home❤❤❤ I am so thankful for this video. I live on the east coast now but these were the very places I spent my childhood and into my 30’s! I am homesick now 😂
Thank you thank you for this mesmerizing video, Nikki! Iove these far reaching places where I know that I will visit - but now I feel I have. Keep up the fishing - I think you were born for this activity and even better if you are allowed to keep / eat the fish! 😊
It must be nice to unofficially work for BF Good Rich and attend one of their events. I love Alaska and I will be back for my third season. Thanks for sharing your journey.
I bet the cats did a better job as mayor than any people. I can safely assume that Parker , Rick and Tony aren't worried about you becoming a gold miner.Alaska is truly a great state to visit, even in the dead of winter. To bad about Camper and Rodney, I would have loved to see the procedure for getting them into the roof top tent.
I was in Anchorage in 1984 aboard the USS Anchorage LSD 36. The people where great and 1/4 of the state toured our ship. At the time my parents were living at a marina in Florida called The Anchorage. When I called them I was calling on the Anchorage from Anchorage to The Anchorage.
We just got home from Talkeetna.. we stayed right by the River. Went to the Brewery cause it was still open. We drove up from Vancouver Island and spent 2 months.. places like Valdez, Seward, Homer, Fairbanks, the Alaska State Fair, Chicken, Top of the World highway, Dawson City and even Tuktoyuktuk. Maybe next time travel up from the 48.
Guud morning Nikki D Fam. Happy FriYay Y'all. Safe Travels Nikki RV and Camptastic. Thank you so very much for sharing your Wondertastic Adventures with us. I look forward to FriYay Mornings.
Nikki another beautiful video I enjoy this I never been to Alaska and probably never will so thank you for taking me along I enjoyed this video Jim from Missouri
Fantastic to see you Alaska, looking forward to seeing your adventures but I was somewhat disappointed as I was really looking forward to seeing you camper and Rodney travelling around Alaska in your Mercedes campervan but still really enjoyed your 1st video in Alaska
in the UK we call fog/mist/low cloud that on the ground clagg but only if we are in countryside or the mountains. at least Northern English and Scottish call it that.
Gosh, look at that the scenery just beautiful little waterfall there the colors in the trees. Yeah I’d love to go camping here, king of the hammers. Yeah we do king of the hammers all the time with our RC remote control 1/10 scale trucks and buggies. That’s what we do head out in the woods with our little trucks. It’s just as much fun and nobody gets hurt.👍👍 it’s a lot cheaper too can’t afford them full size ones.😁
Nikki, just checked out your cousin Sarah's video, she's all over New England. Have fun and be safe in Alaska. I will be following you and your cousin on your adventures.
Alaska is so beautiful, love the adventures you have been on already. Well down with the off roading that was a steep incline. Thanks for the history and information about the area. Hope you were warm enough and looking forward to the next activity x
Nikki thanks for always responding to our comments. You are so remarkable and I see great wonderful things for you in your future. I think you have probably found that wonderful person to spend it with. Love to you. I waited and found my wife when i went back to school for a masters degree. I always call my wife the third degree. I was lucky. We have been married for 48 yrs. hope you have the same. I love your two dogs. they are just sweet.
Hello Nikki and your sweet furbabies. What awesome Video to Alaska so beautiful there thanks for taking us along with you ❤ 😊 really appreciate it. Have fun stay safe out there 💙 keep Warm 😊

Can't believe Demolition Ranch vet is there too. Like him. Great video.

No way DemolitionRanch in a video! A collab I never could've guessed lol.
Shhhh, they look similar but that was clearly the off the ranch guy
@@RonSpilker Nope, it was the Vet Ranch guy

This has been a rough week. I appreciate the escape and positivity that come with your videos. Thank you
I drove there in 2018 and spent 6 months. It was an awesome experience.

You did a much better job at showing off the scenery then Mr. Caraker ( most likely spelled his name wrong ).
Thanks for sharing
I saw Matts version and have been wondering when yours would be uploaded!
It was so fun getting to hang with him!

Hahahah accurate (what makes it’s funnier it was 300ft up a tree that night 😂)
You managed to drag Matt Carriker from Demolition Ranch into your Alaskan adventure and made an enjoyable video even better. Go Matt 👍
