The Arctic Blast change on warden is one of the most myopic, terrible changes zenimax has ever done imo. Wardens literally do not have a burst heal anymore… unless we want to build a 40k+ health Polar Wind warden and lose our damage… Not to mention we lose our stun if we drop Arctic Blast and our access to Glacial Presence passive. it’s overtly clear they’re just trying to push us to buy the scribing DLC for the Healing Soul skill. and even then it’s a huge nerf as Arctic Blast was better passive wise for us and for the stun.
Dk set reminds me on rapier in new world where you stack bleed dots on your target and consume them at once. I hope we see some strength like this with dk
@@abettertomorrow5928 to be fair that’s a buff to all classes. All it does is move the starting line ahead for everyone. I guess pvpers who are neither ww or vamp will be in a better place but is there many of them in the first place ? Lol
I’m not too mad about skeletal mage, 1v1 it already does more damage than entropy.. it’s obviously not great 1vX or in group, but I don’t need a target to cast it for the major sorcery is good 👍. The Summoners armor change is the best change here imo, 30 sec duration widens my burst window AND elevates some resource usage + I don’t HAVE TO run resolving vigor (still too good a heal to not use imo). I think they are just trying to encourage necros to use class skills l, just maybe going about it the wrong way.
1st I wanna say, thank you for being the ONLY PvP content creator to release patch note reviews on time 🙌🏾. Now, in my opinion Arc needed the exe nerf to comp for nerf to vamp I feel, but then again I feel you. Now Necro! Boneyard is back, from the looks of the new set, it looks like they are bringing BACK the playstyle of Harmony and its going to be a better version, where you dont have to press your synergy. With that being said, the brutality on mages grants you the passives you need for that set, along with the extra passives from its tree. Also, mages is used/ should be used on every necro build for PvP, being that we now have the barspace to do so, not only for the reasons I mentioned above but also because the stam morph fits on every DoT build and the mag one fits all AoE damage builds. The siphoning skill is also amazing because it adds to those passives i mentioned above and you dont miss a single passive from camo hunter besides minor beserk, which is a flex spot for either depending on your build. Also, I’m shocked on your point of view on Vamp, that is a huuuuuuuuuuge W. This is a HUGE W PvP Patch!
Templar class skills ignored again. When is zos going to lower their def while pumping back some damage into the class? Templar used to be a very balanced class but now is what now is just either you are a annoying bubbleplar or just rangeplar javeling peeps into comets. Both gets you hate mails.
The new EA set on templar is anywhere between A and S tier. It should open the door to a very reliable plar burst build. Some mix between ranged and classic gameplay as it's either simply more pressure on demand OR it plays naturally into the meteor javelin combo without doing anything special.
The Ravenwatch community will react positively, everyone I play with is tired of it just being a tankfest. Only thing I don't like is the Vamp changes but now I can just run stage 1 and get the stealth speed I guess or stage 2 for strike from shadows thing, will have to see.
The play for Arcanist in PvP will now be use a scribing spammable with the class mastery script (generate crux) and then using the other flail similar to dks whip im pretty sure, beam becomes even more of a joke build option, fun when your teams winning and that’s about it
I really don't care what gets nerfed or buffed... I only want two things that I've wanted for two years... A front kick like a few bosses do, and for jumping to cost stamina... If they ever did that, I'd be utterly elated...

PvP Necros are basically in the same spot. Skeletal Mage is ass for PvP, so we still have to slot entropy or potions for Major Brutality/Sorcery. It needs to be attached to Blastbones, so it benefits both PvE and PvP.
@@FuryOfTyphon agreed. It’s ZoS way of saying “we listen you wanted these buffs” without actually implementing them in a useful manner. So entropy and scribed skills are still the way to go
Necromancer buffs are in the right direction but they have placed them all in the wrong skills. Always feels like when they buff it comes with a "gotcha".
Necro changes are cool but they still have a bad offensive kit. Warden ice staff users got a fat nerf but i guess its good for diversity. Undeath is pretty bad now, curing yourself for extra sustain, less fire damage taken and more hp recovery is definitely the way to go on a lot of builds. Undeath change however is pretty interesting now because you can cure vampires have more sustain and instead of using wretched on builds now maybe you can use a defense set.
Arcanist nerf is much needed. Tentacular dread might be the better morph for damage now, and players will have to toss up between what they want to use crux on offensive vs defensive.
@@frapal9361 Nope. You play arca, don't you? If so, happy to hear your opinion on how arcanist damage isn't really good and that this nerf is unwarranted. @@101CBR600RR I main arca since it came out. Yes it's a very solid class, especially defensively, but it lacks damage considering that the only hard hitting skill, the beam, is very unreliable in PvP. It can be used and I have friends that are also very good players that use beam in group PvP but in solo is pretty useless. The arca needs to go with proc sets and status effects in order to push some dmg. The flail was used mainly to immobilize, debuff and build up cruxes. The execution scaling of that skill was already shitty and now it's only worse, as an arca I will never use the other morph regardless of the dmg it does cause then I don't have a reliable way to make cruxes. That means, as it was said in the video, you will be forced even more to go for scribing which was something that I've avoided so far.
@@frapal9361 It’ll be interesting to see how the class plays when tested. Though I would imagine hard to test in pts (can’t imagine much bg games going on there during pts cycles). I agree that the beam skill is very unreliable. But I’m failing to see why the tentacular dread morph can’t be used instead of flail ? You also said it yourself - the class is solid (I would argue more than solid) when it comes to defensive play. You now have to think about when to use your Crux - 3 stacks of it with dread for offensive or on better defensive. The class has always been about the crux system. Also as you mentioned the execute scaling on flail wasnt that great to begin with. I would be more curious about whether dread buff makes up for the damage loss of flail when you take into consideration Crux. Currently arcs can play very offensively while having a great defense. Their pressure is insane. They are, if not a boring beam class, the most well built class ZoS has come out with. Your tool kit is literally one of the best. Yes they require proc sets in PvP but it’s proc set meta. All the classes require proc sets in PvP. Again - maybe test out the changes and see how they work. And if that means using more scribed skills then so be it ? The point of all the skills is to give choice and make up for what the classes lack in their own sets. Arc requires very few non class skills.

In pvp the class has not been such a success from the get go. It is good but absolutely not overwhelming. ESO spends too much resources on quests that no one does, because of lack of challenge and decent rewards.
