Thank you for digging deeper than just reading the words,,,you are right most churches are fluffy,,,they may have good intentions ,,they may go under just reading the words ,,,but we as young people or new Christians,,or old Christians who knows but needs reminding ,,,we all need it broke down & defined in simple terms with examples or modern terminology,,such as for me & your example with Harry Potter & such things,,,I guess I was looking at it more in a I know these shows are a fantasy this don't really happen but for some reason today I can see that this is kind of a gateway to excepting something that is clearly wronge,,,,,,keep up your diving deeper way of teaching ,,,we are kinda like onions we have to peal away our dried out skins to become new souls in christ ,,I hope you & the family has a very blessed Sunday & week ahead 😊
First of all, thanks much for all of the careful preparation that you do! And, also, I love the lively farm life going on in the background and the highly entertaining 'distractions' (I don't find them distracting)! I really enjoy your very frank, straightforward delivery and I like how simply and clearly you broke everything down. One of the things that I always find interesting on those lists is God's contempt for, or condemnation of, cowardice. Peer pressure proves that that's a stumbling block for plenty of people. The fact that "fear not" is the most common command in the Bible also implies the same. I'm in two minds about someone getting a divorce for legitimate reasons yet God not approving of them remarrying before their ex passes on. I'll have to add suspension points to my position wrt that because I am honestly not sure. I am wondering if there might not be some alternative (legitimate) contextual provision that might not be obvious. I do respect you, though, for being loyal to your literal interpretation. Really enjoying your studies ... the studies themselves and the farm feel are very refreshing! Btw have you ever heard of Pastor Allen Nolan of Cornerstone Fellowship? You might enjoy his UA-cam channel ...
Thank you so much! I know having a barnyard as my background is not the norm for videos like these on the internet, haha. When I was a child my Dad explained marriage to us kids by taking a glass of water (representing me) and some food coloring (representing a spouse), and said that one day when we get married, God takes the two and joins them together as one. He added a few drops to the water and mixed it in. He then said, ok now separate the color out of the water again. Obviously we couldn’t. He used that as a way to teach us that what God joins together no man can separate. That divorce is sometimes necessary, but in God’s eyes we will be forever joined to that person despite our living situation. Just how He says no man can separate us from His love, no man can separate you from the vow you made before Him. And Dad explained how very very important it is to choose wisely who you’ll marry, because that’s forever. Living with them or not, divorced papers or not, in God’s eyes you are one. That’s just my perspective on it, to me it’s one of the things the Bible makes clear 😊 I haven’t heard of him, but I will definitely check out his channel. Thank you! 😊
Thank you! ❤
Amen---God bless you; I love the animals in the background. Thank you for reminding God's people.
