@@Szpak-123 The man is the spiritual leader. That’s why Paul calls it a “mystery”, the vows before God joining man and woman. But from the beginning, the man holds the authority. Again, equally valuable souls, but unequal roles. The man is the head of the household and the spiritual leader of the home. That’s scripture, we can dislike it and argue all we want, but that is the facts.

@@MeekQuietMoments Part 6 PAUL TEACHES THAT A HUSBAND RULES OVER HIS WIFE This is sometimes referred to as the deification of a man over a woman in the marriage covenant, which is what Paul supports in this false teaching. This false teaching is serious, and carries over to his false teachings regarding gender in a church setting. Elders must be men, etc. Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. -excerpt Ephesians 5 -words of Paul Paul restates his false teaching in Ephesians 5 above. Paul states that a Christian woman is to submit to an imperfect man, as though that imperfect man was the Christ. So Paul equates a husband, a mere man, to deity. The name for this is deification. -excerpts Part 6 (above) Full post is available if requested.

@ Genesis 2:21-24 and Genesis 3:16. Genesis was written by Moses. All scripture is the inspired Word of God. “Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Again in Numbers, 30:1-16. The father and then the husband have the spiritual leadership over the daughter and wife. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” The Bible does not contradict itself. Paul is teaching what he learned from scriptures and teachings from the Lord.

CHILDREN ARE BEING RAISED AND THEWOMAN HAS TO.PRAY, SEEK HELP, AND NOT HAVE HER PURITY QUESTIONED TO THE POINT OF HURT WHICH IS PART OF ABUSES AS WELL❤

You have to do what God says, regardless of other factors, regardless of other people. If your husband is an immoral problem, then stepping away from his authority might be required. If he isn’t fulfilling his role, then you become an encourager, while maintaining your role, and teaching the children in the Lord. Mothers can still pray and teach their children, that is their responsibility.

Amy your lesson was spot on today. I think particularly in the United States not only have women taken over and diminished the man’s role but men have abdicated their role and lessened their responsibilities. One of the things that help me as a woman was when I truly understood what the Word meant by gentle and quiet spirit. Gentle means strength under control. Even though I am not by nature quiet gentle person, I am more of a no nonsense person, I have learned how much more strength I have when I exert control over it rather than blasting it out there. Thanks for teaching the true Word of God.

First of all, thanks much for all of the careful preparation that you do! And, also, I love the lively farm life going on in the background and the highly entertaining 'distractions' (I don't find them distracting)! I really enjoy your very frank, straightforward delivery and I like how simply and clearly you broke everything down. One of the things that I always find interesting on those lists is God's contempt for, or condemnation of, cowardice. Peer pressure proves that that's a stumbling block for plenty of people. The fact that "fear not" is the most common command in the Bible also implies the same. I'm in two minds about someone getting a divorce for legitimate reasons yet God not approving of them remarrying before their ex passes on. I'll have to add suspension points to my position wrt that because I am honestly not sure. I am wondering if there might not be some alternative (legitimate) contextual provision that might not be obvious. I do respect you, though, for being loyal to your literal interpretation. Really enjoying your studies ... the studies themselves and the farm feel are very refreshing! Btw have you ever heard of Pastor Allen Nolan of Cornerstone Fellowship? You might enjoy his UA-cam channel ...

Thank you so much! I know having a barnyard as my background is not the norm for videos like these on the internet, haha. When I was a child my Dad explained marriage to us kids by taking a glass of water (representing me) and some food coloring (representing a spouse), and said that one day when we get married, God takes the two and joins them together as one. He added a few drops to the water and mixed it in. He then said, ok now separate the color out of the water again. Obviously we couldn’t. He used that as a way to teach us that what God joins together no man can separate. That divorce is sometimes necessary, but in God’s eyes we will be forever joined to that person despite our living situation. Just how He says no man can separate us from His love, no man can separate you from the vow you made before Him. And Dad explained how very very important it is to choose wisely who you’ll marry, because that’s forever. Living with them or not, divorced papers or not, in God’s eyes you are one. That’s just my perspective on it, to me it’s one of the things the Bible makes clear 😊 I haven’t heard of him, but I will definitely check out his channel. Thank you! 😊

A couple in my past church were put into leadership positions by the pastor. They had a 3 year old child, were living together and were not married. Turns out they could not get married because she was still married to another man who did not want to grant her a divorce. Most likely very hurt by her infidelity. When questioned about this decision our then pastor refered to it as a sticky situation (not sin.) We made the painful decision to leave and by God's grace we are now part of a solid church.

They want to spend an hour a week at church and live their lives freely in the world yet still inherit the kingdom of god. These people are deceived and in love we must share with them the truth. They would not live this way if they had true salvation for they would understand their sins and want to be obedient to the lord and repent. 2 Cor. 7:10 Stay bold in the lord, pray for these people for they are everywhere. Yes, there’s absolutely love, but God has rules and commands. People out here just listening to one fluffy sermon a week, reading a page in a fluffy devotional a day, and thinking the rest of their lives are their own to do with as they please.

This was very helpful ... thx much! I was in a similar situation, but with a slight twist. The immoral brother in question *had* been in a spiritually compromising situation but because he was no longer *physically* in that situation, I assumed that he had gotten himself sorted out. In trying to be a good friend/sister to him, I was putting myself in danger without realising it ... but ... God is good and through a series of things, thoughts, and happenings made it clear to steer clear and leave him well alone ... why? ... because I believe (putting two and two together) that he has not truly repented or accepted full accountability (if any at all) for his rebelliousness. King David got a bligh (a pass) when he slept with Bathsheba and murdered her husband, but God was quick to forgive him because David, on being confronted by Nathan, was instantly contrite and genuinely remorseful. So ... long story short, I have backed off ... ... I am grateful for God's patience and kindness and faithfulness towards me in all of this because even in the midst of my genuine and innocent intentions, I myself was being a bit own-way-ish and resistant to God's nudges (and sometimes megaphone roadblocks, so to speak). So glad I found your video ... this has absolutely sealed the deal for me. Question though: why do you feel women shouldn't preach or (am I getting it right?) handle the word?

And second is Titus 2:3-4. Also, there are a few areas in the Bible where there is a list of qualifications for a pastor/teacher/elder, and in that list is the phrase “the husband of one wife”. So I feel that it isn’t a woman’s place to preach. However, sharing the Word in this fashion is sharing my thoughts and findings rather than preaching or teaching. 😊

@MeekQuietMoments okay ... hmmm ... fair enough ... I'll look up those scripture references ... personally, I think that, given the safety considerations (e.g.travelling to preach etc.) I could see the practical common-sense reservations God Himself might have about women being ministers ... but ... female exceptions like Deborah (a rare one, for sure) suggest that exceptions are divinely permissible on the occasion ... Kathryn Kuhlman comes to mind ... and ... yes, you're right ... nothing wrong with sharing our faith beyond the walls of the church just as you are doing ... the fields are white and the harvest is ripe, but the harvesters are few ... do keep on swinging your sickle and driving your social-media machinery to help gather in precious souls into God's loving Kingdom barns and fatherly arms! I struggled with the same issue of how to deal with unpopular topics when I realized that keeping the laws of Moses meant that I hadn’t been keeping the sabbath holy and that my family had to step away from secular holidays. (Duet 12:29-32) I realized that we are asked to keep the Lord’s sabbath and not our own. Sunday and Easter (as we celebrate now) were established by Constantine in 325 AD and not the Lord. The Lord also makes it clear that He wants to be worshipped in a certain way and not in the same way that pagans worship their gods. We have had loving conversations with our extended family and it has been rough. However, we refuse to let others feelings, the excitement of the seasons, or being considered weird to keep us from what we are being called to do as a family. Thank you for being so diligent in what and how you shared such a hard topic.

I want to encourage you to keep up the good fight. YHVH told me in 2004: "I want you to keep my Sabbaths". This began a long journey back to His ways. In 2008, I was kicked out of my family for keeping the Sabbath & speaking in gentleness to my family member about it. They repented, but I carried the weight of the uneven yoke in trying to walk with my family and I was struggling in my faith. In 2011, He called me to freedom, and gave me 3 passages. Deuteronony 30, Matthew 19:29 & 10:37. I was given a choice to be free and leave my family to walk with God. So I did. In 2019, He led me with Deuteronomy 12:32, and Deuteronomy 13. There were many walking similar to me still choosing paganism/occult practices through Jewish religion & eastern philosophy. This isn't an easy walk of faith, as there are many who will try to pull you aside. But the purity of faith and intimacy with Him are worth it. He has called me to stand up and speak and walk away from many. But I have experienced greater loss in times when I wasn't willing due to fear of man, shame, etc.. My greatest blessing is Him. May you seek His heart & perspective in everything you read and hear, and be blessed!

@@MeekQuietMomentsI thank you too. This is such an important topic because conflict is a part of most relationships and we Believers often flounder to know what to do. God had led me to speak, stand and leave with a few of the passages you shared, the Matthew 18 process being first. But you have helped me to see many more! Some think going along to get along is love, but I think it's hate. If I see my brother heading for a cliff edge he can't see, most would have no problem asking why I didn't help prevent his death. Yet, when it comes to the soul possibly heading to eternal death, so many have been taught to do just that... nothing. "Don't judge". Paul said in 1Cor.5:9-12 we ARE to judge those in the Body. But we do it with gentleness in an attempt to restore them. If they don't repent, then his sin is not on our hands. If at that point you try to hold on and keep back a person heading for a cliff, you could be dragged down with him. Like Jesus said, if a person wouldn't receive what the disciples taught, wipe the dust off and move on. I think this is true grace. To speak, try to restore & give chances, but when they make a choice to not repent, we let them go. But to keep silent harms both. I can't help but wonder where we'd all be if God had decided to say nothing, expect nothing and do nothing... just let us all stumble towards the lake of fire. He sent Yeshua to bring us back and He told the Father he only lost one. If He hadn't laid his own life down to convict us to repent, He would've lost us all. That's not love. I believe He calls us to follow Him and love like He did.

This is an excellent and informative video. I respect how you use the Bible as your guide in regards to how you live your life. Romans 6:1 explains how people shouldn't sin so that grace can abound, people shouldn't take advantage of God's grace and God's forgiveness, etc. When someone becomes saved, God changes them, and they experience all kinds of changes in their life due to God changing them such as not being a slave to sin (they still sin, still have sin weaknesses, still have sin struggles, still make mistakes in life, etc, but aren't slaves to sin), being born again, being a new creation, having a changed heart, wanting to live for the Lord, wanting to serve the Lord, sanctification in regards to how they live their life, and not wanting to take advantage of grace and forgiveness in regards to how they live their life. Keep up the great work living for the Lord. I wish you the best.

Yes, all this. I think there’s a difference in someone who is legitimately saved (their heart changes and their desires change for Him), versus someone who claims Christ but didn’t change… Are they truly saved? I don’t believe that part is for us to judge. However, if they do claim Him, we will treat them like a brother/sister, and biblically that also means judging the fruits of those within our circle. I think it’s the hardest when it’s family 😔

It’s not uncommon for someone to be in this situation. This world has made it so easy to sin. I wish I could write out the verses here but it won’t let me post long comments so here are some for you to read: 1 Corinthians 10:13, Romans 7, 1 Timothy 6:11-12, Hebrews 12:1-2. It’s not enough to run away from sin, you have to pursue righteousness. Also, find someone who can hold you accountable. And it’s the family’s decision on how to handle the situation, but the fact that you are desiring to fix it/stop sinning, is the first step! If you can turn to the Word at any point temptation to sin begins, that will immediately set your mind on the right track. It’s a difficult journey sometimes, but with God it’s not impossible!
