Congratulations on putting together a very comprehensive and informative video explaining the details of the fort, the bastions, the placements of cannons, the architecture, culture and tracing the creation of the fort to the present day. A little thing to change. The battle that killed or lead to the death of portuguese capt. Constantino de sa was radeniwela battle. It was under uva which was a regional kingdom under the kandy

Maritime Museum was first established late 1980s or early 1990, closer to the entrance of Fort near the warehouse. Original museum was damaged, washed away during the Tsunami in 2005.
