      Thank you! I grew up in Hamburg and speak German, although this is already getting difficult. But English is now universal. Therefore, now I release all my videos in two languages. Russian and English. I think now these are the two most universal languages. In 2021, we have a lot of plans and a lot of new videos.

    i hated the very chunky D-shape neck so i sanded it down to a slimmer C-shape and it changed the guitar from a guitar i didn't like that much to a guitar i absolutely love

    Fantastic work.. late 60's/1970 angus young standard is a classic color.. dark cherry.. your reliving is fantastic.. would love to see this done on the 1973-1979 SG's with the skinny but bit rounded neck.. bit of course the bevels were not correct and would need carving.. bit the necks of that era were fantastic!!..love your work!!

      Oh, super. I speak a little Polish. I have been working in Poland for 20 years. Periodically. In late January or early February, I am planning another trip to Poland. We are now completing the reconstruction of the frescoes in Suprasl. By the way, here is another channel of mine on this theme: ua-cam.com/channels/tFqR6_DWLsJdAjq-t4ROdA.html
      Since is now we having problems with movement, then I will probably stay for a couple of months in Poland and think that I will find time to stop by Warsaw. Thanks for the invitation!

      Thanks for replying, and Cool! The frescoes look great - I can see why you're busy and your skills are in demand! I read your democracy post, too. We're all here with you mate! Brilliant that you'll be coming to Poland. I have a very close relationship with the 3 main guitar (& synth) shops in Wsw, and even before writing my 1st reply, I've been planning to help you have contact with them (if you haven't already) to open up a new channel for you. (1÷1=3 principle) - and also in Sweden. A-aaaand - In the early 80s UK, Gibson's engineers kindly taught me how to professionally maintain (like renovate) my original '61 SG(/Les Paul). For fun (& money!) I renovated a book-matched pair of custom-made Eko 6 & 12-string acoustics and brought them back to new life & sound.😆 Could you please contact me via LinkedIn (My name + Warsaw - Business Coach) - and better Still via FBk (add 'Roderick' as my middle name). All the best!

    Looks a nice job, like all the videos you put up.
    My SG is ebony and I can’t see any grain through it which is a shame, Gibson put the finish on very thick.
    I had the Angus USA model before where you could see through the finish but I prefer the batwing version and standard fret markers rather than what was the ‘61 style model with lightening bolts and very washed out fingerboard colour.
    I love the SG guitar though, it’s Angus through and through no matter what the spec is, if you want blood ...you got it!

      @8BombCustom  3 роки тому +1

      @@user-lx3dn9bt9e 😊 Как обычно, такая реакция возникает у русскоязычных жителей постсоветского пространства. Ок, еще раз объясню. Моя цена состоит из перекраски моим твердым нитролаком, который я готовлю сам, релик деталей, крио-фрагментация лака, замена некоторых или всех металлических частей. Иногда замена датчиков на мои клоны ПАФ, плюс мой опыт в искустве более 20 лет и опыт в гитаростроении около 10 лет. И я не навязываю никому мою цену и очеь не охотно беру в перекрас гитары, так как есть более интересные проекты. А если точнее, то сейчас вобще не беру заказы. Занимаюсь только тем что нравится мне. И дело не в деньгах. Вобще по моему мнению перекрашивать Стандард вобще смысла нет. Если делать, то с нуля. С подбором древесины. Исключения наверное только узкий круг винтажных корейских копий ес335. Там бывают очень звучащие доноры.

      First you need to try how the varnish reacts to acetone. You can remove the varnish by heating it with a hairdryer. Clean small areas with acetone. If the varnish does not react to either chemistry or heating, then it is polyester. It can only be removed by grinding and scraping. It is imperative to work in a respirator.
