Some of their stuff is pretty pricey, but the place is always clean and it’s a time suck when you go in. Even if you’ve been there before it seems like there is a lot to look at. Their brisket isn’t good, but my kids have enjoyed their chicken sandwich, their 3 meat sandwich, and some kind of cheesesteak burrito there. We have had their fudge too and it was good. I have very few things I can eat there since I can’t have gluten and corn and a few other foods or ingredients, but they do sell a few things for dietary restricted people that other gas stations don’t.
Isn’t a really big convenience store just a grocery store?

I've been to a bucees. It's nifty, but to lose your mind over a gas station is odd.

How much is Fox 7 Austin being paid to cover the opening of a convenience store?
Yeah, look how big it is. Look at the overhead they have. And you are paying for it with the prices they have on their junk in their store.
It’s quality and volume. They keep their prices low by selling quality products at a high volume. Consequently, they pay their employees extremely high wages with benefits which is unheard of for a gas station/convenience store. Personally, I will not go to a Bucees. I hate them but not for the store and its products. I cannot stand their clientele.
