- (Alena) My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. Somehow when I was a kid, I memorized it this way “5 (NIV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, 6 (KJV) in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.” I recited this verse over and over again when I was 18 and pregnant with my first child. I was really scared then, mostly scared of what my parents would think. Now here I am 12 years later still scared. My biggest fears now are money and physical strain. How will I have the money?!?!? I budget every single dime I make, so I know exactly where my money goes and what I have money for and what I don’t have money for. How can I focus on writing a paper while under the physical strain of pregnancy? Being pregnant is not all fun and games and the responsibility of another child is a lot to bear. When I look back at this footage, I realize the farthest thing from my mind was trusting in the Lord. All I was thinking about is how I can’t do it, how I won’t do it, and how this can't be anything of God’s will but my own stupidity. All things are supposed to work together for the good of those who love the Lord. I know I love him, but I just don’t see how me being pregnant right at this moment can make anything “good”-all I see is how this is going to make the next year of my life a lot more difficult.

My goodness, the man on his knees at the time he knew he had no answers and has to find the positive side when the partner is feeling low thats just awsome. Yes He answers our peayers when we invite him in...am just now following this family but some clips show them at a very happy place and can not wait to catch up...their a wonderful couple but the guy's way of dealing with life is something to ve admired

I've never seen this one.. and that's just how I felt when I found out I was pregnant again recently... most things you said here Alena . now I'm baking baby number two scared as can be but making sure I'm staying praying everyday. I don't have the father's support like you do from Joe 🙏🏽 but I know God got me and will see me through this to financial stability and happiness throughout this journey of being pregnant again🎉.

I get so confused about how shocked/sad people get over a pregnancy when they know how it happens. Why have unprotected sex, or take better precautions? 🤔.

Sad to see her suffering and I hope she is not pregnant. This is a really nice family and I don't understand why she did used the implanon or another contraceptive method as soon as possible. On the other hand she is a great mother and will be able to cope with another child. Her husband need to think about male contraceptive method.

not to be that person but if you didn’t want to have a baby why were they doing things, or use protection like, how’re you gonna complain abt it when it’s your fault. ofc you can feel these things but the way she’s speaking is making it seem like she absolutely hates that child.

I had 3 unplanned babies and I WAS ON CONTRACEPTIVES THE WHOLE TIME .. l was on pills and got pregnant..l was on depo and got pregnant..the last one was a once off condom burst... l was on jadiell and had side effects..l was on loop and had side effects as well...don't judge people...bodies are different..l used to judge as well until l had 3 babies in 4 years... l almost killed myself...at one time l think l was insane and to add salt on an open wound... all my pregnancies are complicated and give birth to big babies...not less than 4kgs at birth..

It is up to the husband to use a condom really. Truth is men does not like to use condoms because it feels better without. It is not easy. It is not alena's fault. Now she wants more babies and gave birth to baby #8. I was with someone. And he said it feels better without the condom. He was thinking about himself. And that was selfish. He did not respect me. He did not even respect himself.
