Thank you for bringing up the fact that this doesn’t work for everyone. I have been a closer at my job for the past two years, I go to sleep at 1-2a and sleep until 9-10a. A lot of people call me lazy or can’t believe I sleep in so late, but I’m getting my eight hours of sleep, and that’s where my health starts. This routine makes sense for someone who has little ones and is at home most of the time💕 but for me, I’ve got my own routine 😉
That's exactly what I thought too! Everyone is different but I appreciate she added that in too. Taking her routine rather than the time she got up is helpful! 😊

Sometumes it even doesn't work for one hiw have a child... For instance, if my baby didn't sleep well at night and I was awake during the night I also can't get up that early. Today is one of this days))) 🤦🤦🤦
10 -2a is the perfect hours to sleep , it's when our bodies rest the most. When we sleep later , not even 8 hours feel enough sometimes ,and that's normal. You waking up at 10 is normal since you work and can't sleep at the right hours.

i started waking up at 5 am about 1 year ago and it has helped my depression so much and it just makes me feel better. i like to wake up with the sun and thank God for another day on Earth. it also makes me feel peaceful waking up before my ffamily and how quiet and peaceful it is

The music in the beginning is making me feel all warm and fuzzy because it reminds me of that one pregnancy video you made a long time ago. The music was the same and for some reason I remember that.
It’s so nice when you tubers actually do it realistically and not just some random afternoon pretending to wake up at 5am. Makes myself and other viewers feel more connected I think

I honestly love that you added in "just because I get up at 5am think about how this could be for your schedule!" Because I know influencers can be huge for people and some seeing this they may say I need to wake up! But may not get home from work till extremely late and need to sleep so it doesn't make sense for them! It may be a silly thing but adding in for people to think of their own routines rather than "this is just what I do" is a good and big thing! Everyone is different
This was so wholesome to watch. I've been a subscriber for almost a year now and have somehow missed this video. I genuinely want to thank you for sharing so much of your lifestyle and perspectives with us. I'm a full-time stay at home mother and college student and I've been struggling with balancing my own time and I'm looking forward to testing out this strategy. Something about waking up in the mornings really does make an individual feel productive. What a great way to practice self-care for the mental and physical aspects in one's life, truly thank you for sharing and I have a new finding of hope for my current situation with sleep deprivation and the self-care neglect that's been becoming more of a consistent pattern.
You should do a shower routine next. Skin, hair, personal health all in one

It really does help! I’m a Christian and I have my devotional that I read each morning and it has helped so much. It’s such a small thing, but it sets my whole day in a good perspective.
I would sleep in my workout clothes before - habit developed from basic training years ago. I wake between 4:30am - 5am. Just love my quiet mornings and getting my workouts out the way which results in me having more energy throughout the day. ❤️
Idk why but you saying that you sleep in your workout clothes or workout in your PJs is a revolutionary idea to me and it might actually get me to work out in the mornings. It just skips a step that I get too lazy to deal with.

I would love to get up way earlier than my kids, but everytime I've tried they hear me go downstairs 😂.
maybe go to bed earlier the same time as the kids do and wake up earlier.

Yeah, you really got to be a hardass there and teach them, that early morning is your time and they got to respect that and stay in their rooms till whatever time you agreed upon with them. I think, my brother and his wife slowly started to make that a rule at about 3 years old with my nephew. He is 4,5 now and stays in his room, playing by himself till 8:30 on weekends. Keeps everyone sane and reasonably rested. On weekdays, everyone usually gets up together at 6:30 ‚ or rather 7:30 right now, due to you know what.
And that works. I often stay there overnight and I‘m a very early riser...but he still stays put, until I expressively told him the night before, he can come down and join me whenever.

Life goals. This quarantine made me re-think my life. When I was in my early 20s, all I wanted to do was work work work. But now at 30, I just want to settle down. Stay home for the mojority of the day. Relax my *ss off. Chill. I am serioiusly toying with the idea of WFH. I love this vlog. Best 5am routine ever. Love from the Ph! 🥰

I actually just started waking up at 5am the beginning of March... it’s gotten harder recently with everything going on, but I’m planning to start back again tomorrow because I love it so much. 😊

Some time ago one of my colleagues mentioned that she makes her weekend day long enough to feel it. She wake up as early as possible contrary to usial approach - sleep longer. .. It's strike me by simplicity of idea. I try and oh, yes.... my weekend day was upgrad to other level. My own time ... which is precious.

This is so interesting to see I have inserted devotion after breakfast but I wonder if a change would be interesting to be doing it right after yoga and stretching. All your healthy habit video have really changed the ways I now see my mornings, sorry if you see lots of comment of me lately I just use to put every video I want to catch up on in one playlist and then took another week to leave comment on those I've watched 🙃

I appreciate that you made a point to say that this won’t work for everyone. Some influencers make things like this and the language they use is very geared towards an attitude that’s very “you SHOULD be doing this.” As someone with an inflammatory disease accompanied with chronic pain and fatigue, this routine could never work for me BUT watching you talk about routines and taking care of yourself does encourage me to continue to pursue my own self care routines which is a big reason why I continue to watch you (other than cute family content.)

When I wake up at 5, I do everything expect the workout. I really should, I want to set a goal. I’m recovering from surgery but maybe in 2-3 weeks. I love the productive self care that I get out of having an early start. God bless you and your family. Thank you for allowing Him to use you. ❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼

My son wakes up everyday at 530am. (He's 3 almost 4).. Sometimes he's up at 3am or 4am thinking the day has started. So me getting up before him can never happen. I'm just praying he grows out of this. I also have 3 children. (1 is 3, 1 is 2, and 1 is 1 month old).
Also if I do wake up before him if he hears me breathe he wakes up. Lol

Wow I appreciate you saying that some people may say that they wish they could do this, but it may not be applicable or possible/healthy for everyone. I found myself saying this “I wish I could wake up at 5am like this.” And then realized that I am a college student that doesn’t even get back to my dorm from working an 8 hour shift most nights until 12am. By the time I finish my coursework and take a shower I am going to bed around 1-2am. This would not be a healthy thing for me. But I LOVE this video because it does encourage me to find a time that I could fit stuff like this into my routine, thank you!

I was getting really stressed out and frustrated today, with everything in the world going on and the work I was trying to do online messing up. I was upset about everything and just wanted to curl up in a ball and eat junk food. But I saw the notification for this video and decided to sit down and watch, and wow did it turn my mood around! Thank you for the inspiration! I have a really hard time waking up in the morning, but somehow also love those early morning moments when I can wake up early. Especially your inspiration for devotionals... I've never really been self-driven in my Bible studies, always thinking I had to be doing a study with others to get anything out of it (by that I mean study books outside of simply reading the Bible). I realized today that I can buy a study book and just enjoy what God has to teach me through it, thanks to you! And maybe I will try waking up a half hour to hour earlier than I do now so I can truly enjoy my mornings.

Great video Sarah. It has definitely motivated me to try and get back on track with early mornings. Also love how you do your devotions on the couch. It is nice and cozy and I use to do that too, but then I moved to either the desk in our room or our kitchen table. Sitting at a table keeps me more focused and the temptation to sleep diminishes for the most part.
I love my morning routines. I get up early while my fiance still sleeps and head over to a quiet space in the house where I just wake myself up slowly. I'll start with some water and a matcha tea latte, do the dishes and clean the kitchen space, practice some soft yoga to get blood circulating, and then end with some reading. I'm currently pregnant with my first baby, and I already know that this current routine is going to be all over the place when bambino arrives, but watching these videos gives me inspiration to be as consistent as possible. A healthy mind and body, makes a healthy and loving mumma.

Now that we're in quarantine I sleep in till like 9 or 10 but I used to wake up when it was still midly dark and the sun was rising. I loveeeed it. It's just so motivating to me.
I love your morning routine! That is a bit hard for me to excersize by myself I do much better in a group or class. But I realize I need an actual routine in the mornings and that would super help my day
