Just played their awesome Cavern Club live video of this song. Had to come back and listen to this one again. I just love this version. After all it's the one that led me to discover this fantastic band. 🙂
Best cover of this song, ever! May I add, you are so much prettier than Keith Richards or Mick Jagger. But seriously, this is hauntingly beautiful. Magnificent music from MLT.

If talent still mattered... these ladies would be world-wide superstars. When you hear them cover a song it's like discovering an amazing song from the "golden age of rock 'n roll" that somehow you missed. I'd love to hear them do "No Reply."

Not sure you guys could pull off such a "dark" sounding song but you proved me wrong. Great Cover, Liked the upbeat the rhythm (found myself tapping my foot while listening to the song), and perfect harmonies as always. Loved it!!!
I think the Stones at the time were a bit too enamored with the sitar. The Twins show us how to peel away those faddish influences to get at the core of the song. Every 60s band should be calling up the Twins and begging them to cover their hits.
I couldn’t disagree more. The sitar absolutely makes this record. As for other records with a sitar I can’t comment as offhand I can’t think of any. But I’m sure there are a few.
When this song first came out I never really listened much to the lyrics, I was only interested in the drum parts. However, my only sister passed this week and when I came across your video and listened to the lyrics it captured my mood exactly but in the midst of it all I found it hard to be sad while listening to your beautiful voices and harmony. I wish you well.

Lord have mercy! The jazzier and bluesier you two get, the more wonderful is the music! Is their a genre to which you cannot bring a welcome fresh voice? I truly adore you two - as pretty girls, of course, because you are that. But more because you seem to embody perfection in every kind of music I hear you play, not just rock. The Beatles have serious competition now as the greatest ever!
Reading comments, I see complaints that this note was missed, you did not play something right and so on. When I go to a Concert I would be disappointed if each and every song sounded the same. I expect, nay demand, that things be different. The same goes for Live performances such as you do. With the advent of UA-cam, now we can see that. Example - Take Foo Fighters', "Everlong". It is a song that ends up on almost every Live Set they do, yet each is different. Checkout setlist.fm It is how they sing it, audience reaction [Grohl seems to love getting the audience involved], the venue, the instruments, and many more factors. There are copies of that song from Glastonbury, Reeding and Leeds, DirecTV Atlanta, Wembley, Australia on the Harbor, PBS Landmarks Live in Concert, and much more. So in my book, you 2 are extremely successful, entertaining and taking me back to times long ago with good memories.

Exceptional! I’m over 70, and this reminds me so much of the great coffeehouse music in the 60s and 70s. Only these girls are more professional, lol - Outstanding musicianship with an authentic point of view, and such enthusiasm! I’m buying some cover music and might try their new album.

Outstanding cover of this song - best one I ever came across! You caught the atmosphere of the song and your version is original enough. Great singing and guitars (as usual), and an extra praise for Mona playing the Cajon, laying down a great rhythmic carpet. In a nutshell: Paint on!

This is one of the greatest versions of this 'dark' classic - equal tops with Mariska Veres (the former lead singer in Shocking Blue). Each is different, putting their own style on the song and making something new and exciting. Great work Twins, thank you.

I never make requests for covers, because you know how much I prefer your great original music, but this is one I had requested soon after discovering you two, and I have been waiting and hoping for it for almost 3 years.... And now you've done it! And made me happy by being the only ones in the world (besides maybe Emily and Fiona) to do it in this upbeat, high key and melodic fashion, which no one else had the balls to try!

LOL, of course, both pairs of sisters are better singers than Mick ever was. I don't think even the Mick Jagger fans will easily deny that. But it's not only about the singing abilities - it's the vocal arrangement, the willingness to sing this one much higher and much less "dark". Only these 2 sister duos ever had the guts to do it.

Lisa‘s timbre fits perfectly for this song. I guess that‘s why even a couple of Stones fans like this version better than the original. I think both are great. ;-)
