This is one of the tunes that made me want to pick up the mandolin way back in 2004; it's the Irish Hornpipe called 'Cuckoo's Nest', as played by Chris Thile & Nickel Creek. Aimed at advanced players, in this lesson we'll learn the core melody and then look at the embellishments that Thile adds to take this tune to the next level.

One of my favorite tunes to play on Mando. When ever I got together with a my really good friend Rob, we Always played this song. It was in dedication, to All the girlfriends we had known in our lives. RIP Rob my brother. I still miss and love ya brother........
