if you cut out that dumb "polka" stomp at the end of the second line of the B part your rendition will sound more than Appalachian bluegrass. I thought only the peasants in the upper midwest threw in that "improvement but I guess others have been infected. Just go back and listen to Ralph Stanley's recording and leave out that goofy interruption in the flow. No, sorry, that's not the actual "backstep." If it were, Ralph and everyone else would have inserted it from the very dawn of time.
