This song is soooo much fun to play and one of my favs. I like this is a “variation” to compliment the version I learned. What an awesome lesson! So cool to get a fresh take on a song I already list as a fav. THANK YOU DAVID!
You know what's fun? I have an arrangement by George Chudacoff for this tune that differs just enough that played together sounds almost orchestral like we're first and second mandolin.
Oh yeah. That duo is 🔥🔥🔥

Excellent. I never considered moving the parts up and down an octave. This really makes the tune interesting. Thank you David. 👍
That’s great! Love doing octave variations of tunes like this!
This was awesome. Fisher's Hornpipe is a standard in the fife and drum corps world. It can be heard at any jam session. I just love it.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Awesome. Into the Cauldron was a huge huge inspiration to me as well. :)
Sailors Hornpipe is another good tune to play for some audition
Another good for sure!
