Personally I love hides. Even without taking photos, sitting there and watching the nature around you is very satisfactory. However I prefer not having a glass in front of me and not having the luxury. I want to feel the heat (ok, I admit: not so much the cold), the smells, the sound. But I guess as amateur I don't need a lot of material and can also call it a day when I had enough.

Great content again but that was so hard to listen to with the audio quality like that.

The glass does not disturb the birds? they do not crash against them? how do these structures affect the environment? I am a fan of your photos but I think that the most important thing is to respect the animal habitats.

it's much more fun without a restrictive boring hide. You really don't need one for most UK species.

Content is great, I love it but this is detracted from hugely as the SOUND quality is (yet again) TERRIBLE! Everything is completely distorted making it almost unwatchable. Someone needs some basic audio training. This is shockingly bad for BBC content.

Joseph, they _explained_ why the sound is terrible!

@@suecollins3246 no, it's not because of Skype/zoom whatever, Mark's audio is also off at times on the other videos in this series too.

His photography is top shelf for sure but food baiting (of any kind) is deplorable........ in that regard- he should be ashamed of himself ! 😖
