This roads thru the canyon are absolutely amazing, and the view is one of its kind. There is something special about this red rocks, something mystical almost.
I'm a Colorado native and I hadn't seen the Western Canyon Lands until a couple of years ago. It is spectacular! Thanks for this episode, Kinga! Well done.
After following you all over the world, it's great to see you in my old stomping and riding grounds, lived in Colorado since 1950, been in love with Utah since the '70s.
I once drove from Los Angeles to Denver, and the scenery in Southern Utah and south west Colorado was life affirming. I happened to get into Colorado early in the morning, and was in the low canyons when the sun came up. I could see the light over the back of the mountains but I was still in the early morning gloom at the bottom by the river. I have never stopped so many times just to take in the scenery. I'm a very destination focused traveler. That drive made me stop and smell the roses. Great stuff as always Kinga.
Like driving in a giant wash out or rut with no way out...fantastic area......It's nice to travel alone all the time, ...we all like a riding buddy now and then....thanks for taking me along...Garth
Love this episode. I've been following you off and on for awhile and have watched some previous episodes. I'm from Utah and the Shafer trail is on the top of my bucket list. Watching you go on it makes it a must do this summer! Thanks for all you do!
Out of your whole North American trip this has been the most scenic. My favorite travel destination via car or motorcycle is Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. So much to take in on such great roads and the two of you are on the perfect bikes for the area. There are some great back country roads but a dual sport motorcycle would be a better option when traveling those.
Interesting to see your perspective on my neighborhood. Having lived and ridden here for 35 years now, I couldn’t help noticing how your editing put the route sequence out of order at least a couple times. First, you drove down the neck, to get to the Schaeffer Trail, and then, suddenly you were at the top of the neck again. Later, you stopped at the hanging, flume overlook, but then drove down John Brown Canyon into Gateway Canyon resort. So those were definitely out of order as well. Again, I’m sure I’m the only one who knows the difference here. keep on riding and enjoying the world.!
Your ride is like that of Thelma and Louise on motorbikes, instead of a classic Thunderbird convertible, riding through the red rocks of Utah. I rode through in my younger days and thought the scenery was indescribably beautiful.
The scenery in Utah is other worldly. Last September I stayed in Moab in a Mom and Pop motel called the Apache Motel. About 4 blocks off the Main Street. John Wayne stayed there when filming Western films. They have kept a 40s-50s theme to the place.
I've been there and done that but the video in this episode is better than my real life experiences, I guess it has to do with too much focus on tarmac and traffic when there in person. Gorgeous part of America!
Z góry dziękuję i Pozdrawiam.
Love your energy ladies 😊
The colors are so beautiful. Spectacular ride with a friend! Nice video 👍
