Looking awesome Brent!!! Can’t wait to see your color being sprayed on 💚💚💚 yes there will always be something! But you know what- it’s going to be a fun driver that you will enjoy so don’t worry about all those “somethings” 💚
It's the same as the green under the fenders and on the interior
@@billmcginley9292 yes Bill I know that- I meant. Any wait to see the paint being sprayed on- I used the word color- even tho I know the color it’s going to be 😊
It finally hit me last night. You're building an older version of an SSR 😂😂😂 JK...
That Firefly lift is so cool. So well engineered. The primer is looking really good. Look forward to seeing some actual paint on the old roadster pickup. Be safe and stay well.
Geez, even in primer it looks great Brent! This has been a mega project!
Jimmy is looking great in primer!! I want to thank you for the editing job...I was afraid watching paint dry would deplete my weekend supply of wobble pop 🍺,but I was spared that awful fate😂👍
Really nice to see it in one color again. The truck looks fantastic. Great job Brent! 👍😎
Watching you sanding , and in outlandish temperatures , was a reminder of just how dedicated you are to your craft . It can seem like there is no end but like you said " If you can see it You have to fix it " so you just keep looking and repairing and sanding . The truck looks great in primer , the end is getting near . Nice you had Esther to help with the top and toneau removal , she is a real boon when you dont have enough hands to do some things which can be tricky . God Bless you both and try to stay cool ,Stuart in Ontario ..
Love it, Brent. I know we all felt your frustration when you were body working it a month ago, but your perseverance is awesome. You’re almost there!
We're starting to get excited, Brent! Looking great 👍😎
Your car builds would be awesome with just this and the General....a picture of all your builds in a row would be staggering 👍🏼 👍🏼
You should be proud of this build. I know I am super happy with the way it's turning out. Enjoy it my friend
This custom truck has lots of style. It would look great in just about any color you would choose. Nice going on this one 👌
Looking great Brett. I just love a bodywork! Well, at least I really love watching you do bodywork lol.
Looking great! You're stirring the bug in me to do a complete build.
It's almost there. That's a lot of work! Good job, especially in heat!😊
This is a huge build series, when I would see builds in old magazines i began to wonder what did not make the cut. When you watch Brent's builds you realy get involved with his work and what it take to get to the product you see at the end. Very much like this work!
Signals will look good amber Brent. You might consider painting the headlight bezels white. Enjoying the tunes as well!
Brent I watched from the beginning and I am truly impressed with how this has changed truly you are a craftsman and you should be very proud of yourself
awesome to finally see it in one primary color. gonna look good when finished.
You should shoot some white paint under the rear tonneau cover as well. This Daily Driver is gonna look sweet when she's all said and done! U're laying on that Primer like a robot, looking good, Brent, can't wait to see it in its shop green, and seeing you driving her down the road after she's all assembled back together.
Another great video of my truck Brent. Its been a long time coming. I fell in love with this truck back when you first put the Pontiac dash in. Cheers!
Brent looking forward....
Anything worth doing
Is worth doing Well!
I hope these kind words give you the vision and motivation to your success👍✔️💯🏁😎
Breathe brother ❤️🙏
I think it's a great prep job. 120 and 180 and then a nice thick coat of primer. Like you said, maybe one more round but that's good finishing. It looked great with wet primer.
Oh boy, body work Friday 🎉
Wouldn’t it nice to do the bodywork as fast as your video shows it.😂😄🤣🏋️♀️🏋️♀️ you the man Brent.
Like, share and one more sand
BRENT AWESOMEJOB prime roadster pickup it be beautiful diamond when painted it as come long away you amazing talent building your project,. just love what you do don,t stop belive magic touch. BLESS YOU and wife family have fun love Ron Zacharias family
Brent it’s really looking great can’t wait to see it in color. Nice work my friend.
Hey Brent had an idea take your roll around hoist raise the hoist all the way up and then wrap that in plastic and use it as a paint booth thought I'd throw that by you I seen you rolling it around while ago You could use strong magnets to hold the plastic into place and use it as a paint booth even cover the top if you wanted to anyway keep up the good work
Brent, take a look at the front turnsign light lens on a 1955 Chevy for your turnsignal lens.
Can't wait to see the Green come on ! Enjoyed the video like usual, thanks Brent. Later
To whiten your whitewalls and blacken the tires at the same time, scrub the sidewalls with a stiff bristle brush and Comet Cleanser. It looks horrible while you're scrubbing, but rinsing off the tire is magical; video clip worthy.
Truck looks awesome in last primer. Can't wait to see it green thanks for the video Brent. Your awesome
Awesome Brent. The shop is great with plenty of room. I'm loving the hot rod. I've watched from day one. Coming along well. You would think that it would be cool in Canada and not hot like South Carolina. Keep up the good work friend.
Thanks Brent. I think that if the front marker lights are going to be white, then the rings should be painted the same silver you are using on the wheels. Might look funny with white trim rings and white lights? Not sure, just a thought. Looking great!
G'day mate been with ya a long long time through the good and the bad ..but mate I love your perseverance and dedication to your channel through the heartache you've had ..love you brother ..this is one of your best love it ..all the best Brent ..thanks for keeping on mate 🙏🙏👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Truck looks great Brent it is definitely worth the extra mile painting it Brent
Great job I've watched every episode of this build love what you done fantastic
Brent you are a artist !!! brotherI have watched this from the start Man I tell ya what you killed it all Love the Halfass Kustom to it :)
To me it looked like you learned that painters two-step real good😊
the truck looks great , i remember what it looked like back when you put the dashboard in it. you did an awesome job .
It's getting there. The body work always takes a long time. With any paint jobs, it's all in the prep work.
We want to see the coupe again next👍🏻👍🏻
Yes Sir!!!
Nice! When casting parts, especially aluminum, there will be shrinkage in the cast part, so your mold needs to be a little oversized to allow for the shrinkage.
People think I'm crazy, but I love that grey candy...
hey Brent a word of advice on the casting you should make the cap a bit bigger than you want it because it will shrink especially with aluminium when it cools after casting. also it may be easier to cast it as a solid chunk and then machine out the center. thin wall castings are much harder to get to pour and fill correctly. Good luck!! The truck is looking good in primer!!
I don't think anyone has wished for it to be a color than yourself. Just seeing it in primer is cool.
It never ends I have a 55 Ford custom line that I've been working on and every time I work on it I find more more and more
Man I for one can hardly wait !
It's been a long haul from the start of this former GMC roadster Brent! I loved the whole concept from the beginning and it reminds me of the Barris shop truck and a couple of others from that era. I'm glad you didn't do Frenched dual headlights the singles are simpler and complement the smooth look. I am actually excited to see it in finished paint. It will look like those wild show customs from the late 50's & 60's with the thick padded Carson and bed cover. The choice of white material might make you busy cleaning and touching up and bed too but it sure cool!
I appreciate that Brent has comprehensive build content. Some content creators just hack and tack and shelve the project when attention to intricate details are pending. Brent handles everything like a 'Boss!
Think it amazing how mint you have made this ride nice on the eyes indeed . Thank for sharing
I've been watching this build from the beginning, very cool truck, I like the idea you had in the beginning of a Pontiac waterfall hood ornament.
Good job Brent!
You're getting it. Its gonna be a hoot on the Drone video!!!!
I cant help it,, watching other people spray cars is very relaxing lol hate doing it my self lol
Looks good all in one colour, albeit primer, but it shows it is nearly finished. Well done.
I really love this truck ,well done Brent!
Looks good in primer ,Brent ,should look awesome in green …
You should try the clear carpet protector it's 3ft wide and self sticking covers the whole area at once and peels right off
Candy Apple Pink !!!!!
I'm anxious to see it painted 🎨
Brent you the man that can do it all 👍👍keep them coming
Looking incredible as always but I WANNA SEE GREEN PAINT! Haha I'm so excited to see it finished.
Looking good Brent. Cannot wait to see the final result
I'm GREEN with envy!!!!!
Looking great, certainly putting in the work ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved
Brent you are on the final stretch now. Hopefully we will see some paint soon. Take care and looking forward to see the green machine.
Going to be awesome to see it in paint Brent 👍🏻
Nail polish works well paint will block to much light, keep the awesome shows coming mate 👍
You are busy everything looks great
Manitoba farmer with shorts on. Oh my gosh did the corn stalks cover their ears so the corn couldn't see? The air raid sirens go off? The Mennonites stop making sausage? Ok that last one was pushing it! Good video dude.
Halfass Kustoms, great video keep up the amazing content
Minty !
Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out .
Later ...

👍That truck just keeps looking better and better I can't wait to see it with the final paint
Can't wait to see it painted.
I sure like your mini lift for bodywork and painting. Really good idea !
That little forklift has turned into a very good piece of equipment for you, it makes since that you have the higher ceilings. The roadster pickup is looking awesome.
Can hardly wait for it to go green!
Looking good. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing !!
Looking good my friend looking good looks great l love it .
Getting so close to the end looking really good
the look on his face was what ever dad let me sleep
G'day mate that thing sounded sooo sweet when you started it up in the shop man oh man that is sweet
Looking like progress to me Brent. Another great video
Congrats Brent! A big step!
Mr. Brent . I enjoy your videos, I wait every week to watch them all...... Yours are real
When you are spraying stuff like the hood try putting the hose around your head so that it follows your arm from the shoulder. (clear as mud?) It'll keep you from accidentally hitting anything with the hose.
Brent your posts are the very best. You have come a long way and it has been very enjoyable watching. Can't wait to see what you're going to do next.
You need a set of Goff Curtains to double as a paint area with an exhaust fan. That would save time and contain the overspray. Just my opinion. Project is looking good, it will look great when the color is on it and it's put together.
good show Pal Keep on Truckin 😎👍
It came out super nice. Great video and great job
Love watching the progress 😊
I have watched this and almost all your shows and am thoroughly impressed at your full determination of making the most impressive vehicles ever to be put on the road. I have seen a lot of the same Car Builders of all types and truly i gotta say you Brent have gotta be one of the rare breed of Men that have a talent with that touch of Class One Profession. Thank you for givin' us a birds eye view of your "things that can happen if you make do with what you have". Thanks again.
Looking good!
Looking awesome 👍 l love it
