Small tip , try to send your hammer of light when you have 2 stacks of blessing of dawn ! Some times you have to fish for it with , judgement or blade but it’s worth the damage increase
When it comes to trinkets, the Mercurial Egg outperforms the Sacbrood by a lot and for enchantments, as soon as you go for AoE dmg Council's Guile sims for me way higher then any other. But yeah, guess you will have to do the sims yourselves :)
Sac has definitely taken a back seat for trinkets since other raid trinkets have started making appearances in higher tiers. I actually simmed shard for single target 1 level higher than a max heroic khardos. That to me was interesting enough.
Trinkets are a bit tricky when doing sims a lot of things can influence their outcome similar to stats they can be different for everyone, but generally the ones i list here will be good for any ret paladin
Thank you for this video! I have a question: Why is every guide suggesting the stat priority of Strength > Mastery > Haste = Crit > Versatility for both Mythic and raids, while you recommend prioritizing Crit over Mastery in Mythic+?
For keys the top of your damage is going to be empyrean hammers that can only do aoe if they crit in m+ aoe is most of the gameplay so it overpowers most other stats, in raid it doesnt matter if you crit or dont since its mostly single target so making the hammers hit harder is better so mastery becomes stronger
If you check the top M+ gamers, they are all going for critt now. Its the easiest way of seeing whats up in my mind cuz thats the guys thats pushing and the "top gamers".
It procs acording to the number of targets so with 5 targets its a 25% chance, to be honest its a very wierd interaction should just be a flat % like the original empyrean power
Crusade is generally better since it provides a longer window of wings also a stronger one, extending crusade is also easier with the haste that it has
i think the m+ build is focusing too much heavly on aoe , i feel having 4 more sec on the singel target cooldown and 3% blade of justice wont affect aoe and u can do huge singel target damage
there are some min max things that you can do for every dungeon but focusing on aoe will carry you easily up to 12s so thats why i recommend going a bit more aoe heavy
raidbots keep simming other trinkets as better than sac. So, I just take whatever the sim spits out, after having done several possible cenarios (single, cleave, etc etc), for mythic and for raid. So, Iif we are to believe the sim, we should not be so black and white about sac being bis.
Shadow-Binding Ritual Knife is pretty good for M+, but is also pretty hard to get it in hero quality, because it only drops from delves (or weekly vault)
The thing is sac on top of being generally good (for most ppl it sims the best) also is the easiest to farm, tergeting delve trinkets on heroic is not possible same can be said for raid stuff, having said that similar to stats depending on your gear some trinkets will seem better for you in a specific scenario, i list whats generally better
The difference between two stat stick trinkets is such a minimal amount it doesn’t matter what you wear. I recommend two on-use trinkets for m+, you will always have a mastery buff up for Wake
For AoE it is, so basically it gets tremendous value in m+ but almost none in raid outside of improving your multi-target cleave but you are still better off focusing on ST stats.
The rework was not friendly for us. The reduction in damage is fine but the fluidity of the playstyle because of the CDR removal feels instantly worse although you learn to play with it pretty quickly, and the trading of damage and smoothness of rotation for almost NOTHING relevant for healing like they pretend these talents are, is laughable. There is only one really talent that can bring something to the table and thats Seal of the Crusader and of course, you have to sacrifice something actually good to get there. Paladin tree reworks are awful and Blizzard is once again proving they dont play their game.
There needs to be concerted effort by the ret community to hound either for a massive boost to the rework, a reversion, or a direct buff to single target abilities to offset the playstyle and overall damage nerf.
Yup, I’ve yet to watch a guide and finish 9’and 10’s at 1.7-1.8mil overall. 4 button opener and then press shiny buttons and don’t over cap holy power. GG. Now if only they can make BM great again.
Thank you so much. I was waiting for this. Was totally lost with the rework.
Thx for the support im glad i could help

Thank you very much ! We appreciate it a lot ❤
Whats the ideal holy power to then spend ? I see 3-4? Is it not necessary to spend all 5?
always on point! thanks a lot! 💛

@@Ceerliz without a doubt. thank you for suggesting that.
Your paladin tree could use some changes for 11+s
think i might reroll back to ret, mage is getting tough these days, logged into my pally from DF s2 and instantly did like 300k on dummies XD
I’m assuming Empyrian Power sims well but a proc from 1 out of 20 auto attacks seems pretty lame.
But I guess any extra aoe damage scales best.
It procs acording to the number of targets so with 5 targets its a 25% chance, to be honest its a very wierd interaction should just be a flat % like the original empyrean power
great video as always, thoughts on crit wings over crusade on high keys?
Why do you think high keys would be any different?
I’m using crit wings and it feels amazing. High overall dmg
Crusade is generally better since it provides a longer window of wings also a stronger one, extending crusade is also easier with the haste that it has
Where can i get these armor, also in warfronts i cant get the quest i dnt know how
warfronts has a similar color just a bit more yellow, but this version is no longer available since it was the elite pvp from season 1 bfa
@LightbladeGaming ahh oky thanks for info
i think the m+ build is focusing too much heavly on aoe , i feel having 4 more sec on the singel target cooldown and 3% blade of justice wont affect aoe and u can do huge singel target damage

Is it still possible to get the transmog that you have?
Not this same color a version, there is a version that is a bit more yellowish from warfronts

my heroic trim spelunker candle from delves always sims most damage than all other "bis" trinkets for m+

So what the sim says, ignore anything else especially this guy
judgement then Boj? or the other way around
either way will be fine as long as you apply both expurgation and judgment at the start
SV and GB trinkets sim slightly higher than sac, i have been lucky getting all 3 on myth track 🙈
U lucky duck lol
i thought crit is much more important than haste for templar?
For AoE it is, so basically it gets tremendous value in m+ but almost none in raid outside of improving your multi-target cleave but you are still better off focusing on ST stats.
embellishments paladin ret pala Weapon for m+?
Weapon only for raid, for m+ double dawnthred is better
What armor set do you have?
its the one from BFA, that you have to unlock pvp battles and can get a reward once per week for one of the pieces. Its called the 7th legion
I have the Season 1 BFA Elite set its no longer available, but there is a warfront recolor thats just a bit more yellow that one you can farm out

I agree it was bad, they couldve just done an aura damage reduction and left the haste-cdr talents somewhere because the gameplay got very slow

mubs
how does anybody need a guide for pala.. its basically a 2 button class. a can play it with a steering wheel
Its usful to have a basic idea of the foundations of a spec
