The Most Confusing Player in Esports
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 сер 2023
- There was once a time when people thought that Huke would become the best player in the world. He was going toe-to-toe with the OpTic dynasty at just 15 years of age. But since then, there have been many ups and downs in his career. He’s tasted glory across two different esports, including the Call of Duty World Championship. But he has also come under heavy scrutiny multiple times, for both in game and out of game reasons.
With a potential as high as Huke’s, he arguably should have cemented himself as one of the all time greats already. So where did it go wrong? This is the story of Huke.

I’ll always support Huke. Man is a beast and overall solid teammate. His adaptability shows with him winning in 2 different FPS titles. I look forward to what he does these next few years.
Huke is such a humble young man. I’ll always wish him the best with everything. 🙌🏻🖤
Is he a solid teammate though? It gives me Lebron vibes, like dude is insane at his craft and damn near unbeatable but that coupled with his desire to put up stats, causes his team to lose time and time again.
Dude is just a nice man. Will always pull for him also
@@ThefoxlogoLebron has 10 finals appearances FYM he causes his team to lose.
You’re thinking of Carmelo Anthony
@@notagod7804 exactly my point, 10 appearances and only 4 wins. Dudes good enough to make it so many times but not able to win ‘em
Teej and Huke swapped bodies
insane comment lmao
LMAOOOOOOOOOO
Hahaha
Nah that aint right
Chiiiiiiiiiiiiill😂😂😂😂
Huke is maybe my favourite player of all time, hurts so much that the OpTic team couldn't win an event with him but hopefully he bounces back and has a great rest of his career.
starting to think its dashy lwk
@@Memo-vw9bqhonestly if they don’t win a chip at least with this new roster then it just might be.
@@Memo-vw9bq Main ARs that are not leaders generally don't win......think Temp, Dashy, Owakening, etc.....where you have Accuracy, Clay, Octane, Slasher etc that are the UAVs for their team and generally win.
@@lComedianland they dropped danghosty😭
Don’t forget about h4f
Huke his path is just unfortunate but his ceiling is literally “through the roof”.
An epic story of a great player! Would love to see a video of Nagafen as one of the best snipers that ever touched call of duty
I remember Huke in the AW days, such an unknown variable back then watching him compete in bracket play and then the multiple matches against OG it was stunning (no pun intended). To then watch Huke make the switch to Halo then transition back into CoD shortly afterwards and deal with what he had to, was a revelation for competitors back then! Hope the best for him, he’ll be alright but it’d be great to see him have consistent success in the CDL!
These videos that you guys put together are so freaking good. Keep up the good work Breaking Point!
Huge is GOATED!! MAD RESPECT FOR THIS MAN... KEEP GRINDING MY DUDE WE BACK U 100%
We need a playlist for these!!!💙
Huke one of my favorite players he's been on a redemption arc of some sorts and i hope that continues to fry next year
Great job as always BP
That’s my boy!
Hope to see him find his confidence again thou. Been working on his identity for a bit
what do u mean identity?
@@magus3695 juggling Argo sub or gap fill(rotational lurker)
Before he use to guarantee 1:1 for himself to pressure the map now he is setting up teamates to better trade him out.
It’ll take time. Same happened to apathy early career bo1 until bo3
@@magus3695he’s probably just misquoting personality for identity .
@@magus3695 he's probably just misquoting dick for identity
Great video as usual. Loved the guy as a person on OpTic and there were moments where he was one of the best players in the world, but his pacing and decision making seems to have stayed the same for years
How about you? -Nothing.
I love these, you guys should do one for Shotzzy
Cuyler has always been one of my favorite players to watch ever since AW. Aggressive in your face playstyle, doesn’t talk trash (although I’m all for it), and let’s his game do the talking. Dude is the ultimate underdog story and I hope he has a successful career after he hangs up the sticks
What the instrumental at the end called. Dope vid btw!
Oh my god bro, how did I miss this video about my favorite player😑 , he has only had a bad road, now his career is starting. HUKE the GOAT
I’d like to see a Huke and temp reunite for the next cod season. Throw some clay in there too for good measure. No idea who the other sub would be but I’d be down to see that friendship league squad.
Standy maybe?
I like Neptune but most would call that a hot take.
I remember seeing this kid in AW, man what a rollercoaster of a player
I remember watching Huke go 1-12 playing search scrims and thinking his career was over 😅 it was so bad his own team didn’t want to comment. Watched the Optic loss live too, didn’t notice it was because of Huke it was such a close game
i still dont get why huke gets the blame for the hydro map like ghosty didnt push new for no reason, and dashy and shotzzy were looking at nothing
he gets the blame because kismet ran through mid (HUKE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WATCHING) and got a 2 piece and point… if huke kills kismet it’s a 3v2 for point in favor of optic
@@chrisguapoo my point is ghosty sold too. Dashy sold too. And shotzzy sold too. Don’t just blame huke for not getting a 2 piece mid when all 3 other players were looking and doing nothing.
Everyone forgets the 99 mistakes that came before the last mistake in a close game. Makes zero sense.
Nah you're insane for even suggesting that, #2 & #3 were supposed to watch back in case of swimmers and people going far south, they had no idea anyone was coming because Huke was supposed to watch that whereas Kizmet knew 1-2 players were on point because they were scoring, it's like having and advanced uav on them and they were both lined up next to each other, bad luck, Kizmet singlehandedly had a massive advantage on them. Even if Huke had gotten no damage off it would have been fine because they would have known and slayed Kizmet, that was all on Huke, he not only let Kiz go completely uncontested but also in secret and that's literally the only reason they lost, they were trusting Huke to call out anyone going to them and he absolutely failed them, that loss was all on him.
rewatch the vod... ghost gets like 1 or 2 and starts rotating new meanwhile they win off old, dashy and shotzy were staring at nothing, they had like 3 dead and the only place they could be was mid@@MISTAKEWASMADE4live
3:39 that man in the back dabbed on em 😂
That's Elumnite. He tried out for Denial as a player but became their coach after they decided to pick up Huke instead.
This channel is like a 10x better TheScore Esports. Loving every one of these. Big W from every one at Breaking Point involved.
Also while typing this I JUST clued in that Breaking Point can be a pun for Braking Point lol

It's like breaking point knows that console games exist lol.
i remember playing w huke before he was on stunner, he was this local kid who played w another local named Mute, at our AZHP gaming events, i still got vods of our old matches and i actually went to UMG dallas with him and his brother, god ill never forget kanye west after that 22 hour drive, (on REPEAT) got some funny pics of us all lmao, overall he was a really quiet kid who shit on every living thing he went against, homie is a true gaming god.
Cuyler will always be one of my favourite players of all time. So happy he got his time under the GreenWall and I hope he finds his footing again with Seattle.
Love these videos, but especially for the players that hopped around esports like Huke. Great for people like myself who weren't watching other games back then.
Is this guy not tacticalrab?
My favorite player in the league. Love his vibe and style as well,MWII was just not for him and his aggressive gameplay. He will be ten times better in a faster title.
Always will give huke props for manning up and admitting his Adderall mistake
I miss him in halo but im hopeful he can grow as a person and continue to be a great player.
Same. I watch more CDL than Halo now exclusively because of Huke and I'm a Halo player.
A soloist mentality will never work with a team long term. Needing to adjust around that type of play style is super difficult is comms are bad. Best of luck to Huke.
Dude I forgot about Huke on Halo!!! good ol days
no way were letting that dab slide at 3:38
He was just ahead of his time and now everyones caught up. Thats all
This played like a thriller.
rest in peace phizzurp, legend forever love you
my goat
Love Huke man! #Greenwall forever
Adderal is a hell of a focus
you should do one of these for colt havok
man went thru a glo up for sure
I wouldn’t change anything from the past as an optic fan w huke I love him one of my favs you can only appreciate how well he stepped in for the shitty spot we put him in. Forever thankful huke
What spot exactly?
@@fredycate2329 him getting the role of being the teams scapegoat being on the team hearing your own fans change another players name knowing he’ll be taking your spot taking a back seat role and just bring the teams pond
@@zachhopkins56that’s always optic ever since scump came he tries to put it on anyone on the team but him look karma left crimsix had beef w him formal left him too
He went from guaranteed last place every event with LAG to having the pleasure of being on OpTic and he gets heat because he deserves it he was consistent online and inconsistent on LAN + made game losing plays even Karma disliked how Huke played so it's not just delusional OpTic fans looking for a scapegoat.
@tobecontinued436 optic placed t2 on both of of those lans because the smg duo was godlike. U have no idea what you're talking about
dont sleep on huke, he's gonna make all of us forget his losses one day
Fell off when he got dropped from empire in cold war
Didnt know that play on hydro had that impact
notice the cellium 3 piece at 1:08 lol
Bro Huke is a Goat not the goat but a goat. He is one of the biggest slayers of all time man.
Huke is probably the first example of an Esports player that peaked way too early. Beastly prime but quickly fizzled out into an inconsistent and sometimes bafflingly low IQ player. Always showed glimpses of his talent but his game IQ would always be his downfall and honestly you could make an argument at times that he had one of the worst game IQs in COD Esports.
Huke is my homie. We are same country.
Nothing confusing sounds like a legend never heard of him before either
Is this tac rab voice? I didn’t realize he did breaking point
Sounds it
I know him personally! Love him man is crazy!
Great Video
Would say without the addy, he hasn’t been the same.
Gonna have to drug test me 😭
I disagree.
All he had to do was watch mid
Bro everyone was on adderall in cdl even scump said he had to take it because everyone else was
idk sounds like people considered him the best in the cods that only took aim but now that you have to use your brain he seems to be struggling
Hukes aim is so snappy and clean. Really he just needs a better playstyle. He’s super talented.
95 Insane gunny, 55 CoD IQ
Great at games and in environments when you can just shoot and don’t need to think
So.......... you don't need to think in Halo 5?
@@AMPStorm I mean, obviously you do, but the game had a larger movement / gun skill gap rather than strategy gap, it’s why Splyce could win without practicing 4v4
@@alexcarlone7967 I still argue that it has as much if not more strategy however your point about classic CoD having a low mechanical skill ceiling is true. Shotzzy won first with Bubu dubu and Shooter before teaming with Unlegit (Eco) who are all known more for their teamwork and game sense than their mechanics.
If he didn't hop off that Hill in 23' Champs he'd still be in OpTiC
Warra glow up for Cuyler
give the guy some fken respect man? always seems to be a finger pointed at 1 particular person when a "TEAM" fails.. dudes a beast behind the ironsites. by far one of the top top hall of fame players in CDL history for sure
I miss when Courage JD did the gameplay commentary.
Huke is the man
Addies f*** with your brain chemistry.
TacticalRab???😂
cuyler is a legend. Easily top 3 best sub machine gun gunny ever
Huke can fry. However, he goes rogue a lot. A lot...
he was a different breed in AW
Huke is a legend!!
As an apex nerd, im happy that I saw Snip3down lol
He is a super talent to this day; he's just not consistent. I don't know what environment will get that out of him. His form on Optic is proof of this; when he's on, he's one of the best (he looked like the best in the game in certain stretches), but at his worst, he was the worst on that roster. To give him a bit of a break, the looming threat of having to be amazing or we're replacing you with Pred probably did not help down the stretch of last season.
Huke should bounce back to another game. Last Time he did this in halo, annihilated. He should do it again
I fw hukes story so much fr
Sounds like he’s never had a good coach to correct some of his bad habits
Online rings do not count
This video made me Huke 😢
Nah the title of the video is insane lol
It’s so tragic that the kind of trolling and straight hating that is involved in e sports lol. This dude gets shredded over the years
Spart using the Volk should've been brought up when talking about that major 2 win
How much of that was just a psychological advantage though? Spartan was doing work in SnD with the atomaton. It did make a big difference however he only used it in certain maps and modes. FaZe seemed to be flustered.
@@AMPStorm Didn't seem like much of a psychological advantage tbh once the volk was GA'd LAG couldn't win a series until they brought Gunless back.
@@tobecontinued436 hum. I don't quite understand your point. Imagine you show up to a tournament and every player in every scrim is using the same 2 guns and now your playing for your tournament life against a new guy with a new gun. Not only is it a in game advantage but it can be enough to make certain players tilt and headcase.
@@AMPStorm The only advantage was that Spart was the only person that used the Volk before major 2 when he brought it out and the Volk is the only reason LAG won that tournament IDC if he didn't use the Volk for every map and mode because it's clear as day that without the Volk LAG were never going to win anything. LAG were winless after major 2 until they brought back Gunless. Spart was nothing without the Volk in his hands after major 2. A psychological advantage would be like OpTic choke slamming FaZe every series and so FaZe is already in their heads before every series vs OpTic thinking they can't beat OpTic.
Huke is 100% of the reason that I watch the CDL. He won 3 tournaments in Halo 5 against the CLG/OpTic/Tox dynasty team and was such an impactful player that when he returned to CoD his former Halo team disbanded because they knew that they couldn't beat the top teams without him. In my eyes he's basically the ideal competitor and teammate.
There’s no doubt in my mind, that if the age restriction never happened, and he went on to BO3. The story would’ve ended completely different. The kids a monster.
He’s such a humble person always has been he’s truly himothy
Probably to do with his confused genetics
wassgood video
he may be a really good player in gunfights, but teams don't want him cuz he can't play with a team well
Hukes best games were jetpack CODS. Sucks he didnt get to compete much in those ones. after MW3 drops this year, the next COD will be jetpack and HUKE will have one of his best seasons yet!!!
He was incredible in Halo 5 also.
huke was already on the team when scump retired
Bruh faze losing to empire and their face cams is fucking hilarious😂(faze fan btw, that shits just funny tho💀)
didnt crim switch from cod to halo back in halo reach?
I wish Huke joined Boston
Huke Standy Clayster Attach😊❤🎉
Huke is still good. He was considered one of the best subs mid season and I feel like he can turn up at anytime . Though he wasn’t consistent towards the end I feel like he offers a lot for teams looking for serious veteran sub
This sounds like tacticalrab
I love Huke he’s one of my favourite players besides Kenny
He is a player, that reminds me off apathy. Extremely good one second, then so inconsistent the next. Its almost like an amature play style. Always running for a kill, rather then seeing what's happening on the map, and playing accordingly. He is either winning games for his team, or costing because he lacks fundamentals.
Why did my boy look like a diglett in that first clip?
Huke is literally Anthony Davis of the CDL
So he’s only good at shitty cods makes sense only time he had a chance was in aw when his reaction time was 15 years old
say what you want about him but not everyone could be the goat or elite. He was a polarizing fella for sure but im taking his career 8/10 times
