FormaL speaking that Halo championship into existence makes him one of the coldest pros to ever touch a controller. Always been my favorite FPS pro to watch and it was incredible watching him turn back time to win in Halo after he retired from CoD. H4F baby lol
FormaL's story is as close to a story from a writer's script as you're ever likely to see. I would have never imagined that he'd be standing on the Halo Champs stage as the winner after his "Read if you're H4F" twitlonger after Cold War. One of the greatest pros we've seen across every e-sport out there.
Got to be at halo world Champs. You could feel the emotion coming off the stage at the end when they were presenting the trophy. Was awesome to get to witness it in person
@@jordanamundson4129 after everything that aPG has been though it must have been amazing. Also Trippy and Lucid winning their first LAN event ever. Special moment for sure.
It’s so crazy as I’m watching those reach clips you see names still in the halo scene obviously now. They’ve known eachother for YEARS at this point. Pistola, Lunchbox, aPG, etc. just insane to see a lot of them still in esports, competing or coaching. Also insane to probably play formal first in halo then see him dominate in cod then come back to halo and win a world championship against the people (pistola) and with someone (aPG) he’s played against like a decade ago. Insane to me.
Holy shit what an amazing documentary. As someone who got into competitive cod bc of T2P and that optic dynasty I’m so happy to see formal continue to dominate.
I love this documentary. Really filled in some gaps for me as I'm primarily a Halo watcher and just recently started getting into pro COD. Trying to go back and watch some of the series from earlier titles. I'd love to see something like this covering Shotzzy someday, hopefully after he creates a legacy in COD. The way he burst onto the Halo 5 scene with insane movement was something I'd never seen before, then he turned around and did the same thing in COD. Insane.
Formal has to be my favorite esports player. He's such a chill dude, and makes super smart plays. I've never really watched him until recently, with Halo, but he's definitely one of the best on controller.
Great job including the Formal / Scump interaction at their first event. 👍 You could have mentioned how all the Halo pros that grouped together in CoD failed but Formal, Enable and Crimsix found more success by branching out and surrounding themselves with actual CoD players. Formal was considered one of the best snipers in Halo also. Formal said that the Team Kalaber player Neslo was a fan of Formal because he played and watched multiple games so that's the only reason that Formal got a tryout and eventually picked up by the 2nd best team in the game at the time. Ironically Formal ended up replacing Neslo which is unfortunate. Also Formal has claimed that he has never left one team to join a team that he thought was better, only to get outplaced by them at the next event which is pretty remarkable given the amount of teams that he has left/joined. Halo player ACE uploaded a Halo 5 video where Formal is dominating on Halo 5 while competing in CoD.
Breaking Point, the algorithm introduced me to you and I am not disappointed. This video was very engaging and educational. Never knew much about Formal until now. 11/10. Well done my friend!
Incredible video. Watched the whole year of halo competitive, and that world champ weekend was different. So happy for all of them, but APG and formal especially. A world champ in cod and halo. A true legend.
The dude levels up in championship series. At his peak he was an absolute monster who could turn the tide of a match in short order. He could make teams one dimensional, completely shutting down lanes singlehandedly There will never be another vintage Formal.
I think overall Formal has to be the best controller FPS player of all time. To win tournaments In both CoD and Halo and getting a world championship ring in both games is just nuts to me. I don’t think anyone will ever do that again tbh
This current optic Halo team feels the same way. I think only Faze and SSG have a chance. Sentinels need to prove themselves before I can put them on the list.
My favorite player to date to watch and learn from across all the different cod titles. So happy to see him succeed especially under the green wall banner where he belongs 💚
Formal used to get slapped in H3. I remember playing against him all the time. He was always a good player but he really didn’t come into the professional scene until reach came out
I will admit that Formal’s performance puts him up there. The only hitch you’ll have with Halo fans (sorry, COD is just not as fun to watch but I cheer on the Greenwall) is that Formal really started to shine in Reach, when Halo started going downhill. Ogre 2 likely has more chips than any other eSports player and he did it when Halo was THE game. I love both
Has anyone else noticed Optic Lucid of Halo kinda looks like Scump from the side and when they are shown as a team? It's almost like he's playing again with his homie on Halo to me.
This video was really well done! The only thing that seems to be beating FormaL is his weight. I hope he can get it under control because of long term conditions like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes 🙏🏿
I'm so upset he doesn't play C.O.D with scump anymore best duo ever but he's a beast in halo an he loves it more than C.O.D an it's his life do with it as he please he still amazing to watch in halo 🙏
If you think about it, halo less but cod as well gets the most attention and new talent flow consistently throughout the years. Plus the games are different every year. I feel like being the best at a game that hasn't changed for 10 years is a bit different

What a perfect way to silence the haters after mw2019 and CW seasons also
If Mark Mcguire and Barry Bonds have an asterisk, then so does Formal.
💯

When he beat optic in Raleigh that was surreal what a wild year.

Most of the names went back to H2 and H3
First player to win a lan event on halo & call of duty? Then first player to win champs on lan in halo & call of duty ? The goat 🐐
world champs in two of the biggest shooting game franchises with the best k/d in both yea he’s the best
This one is the one. Did amazing justice to formal. What a fucking legend
He proved a lot. 💚
He is so calm under pressure. Patient but persistent in his gameplay

ya been watching formal since he joined optic in AW good to see him take over in Halo

Glad you enjoy it!
Winning a championship in CoD and Halo is pretty damn legendary
literally teared up at the end when I saw formal tearing up after he won halo worlds. Good stuff RAB, making a grown man cry.
And when he won against Optic, he didn't celebrate out of the respect. Damn what a legend
pretty sure that was just sweat bro haha

Can always count on Breaking point for great docu vids like this and with rab voicing it you know its great
I thought for a moment the title was a bit much but man Formal is an absolute monster man what a prestigious career
Ogre2 and Formal will forever be my favorite halo player beside pistola, Snipedown and T-square 🔥🔥🔥
Breaking Point, the algorithm introduced me to you and I am not disappointed. This video was very engaging and educational. Never knew much about Formal until now. 11/10. Well done my friend!

Formal was the missing piece. He kept his ear on fate and followed through. What a thing to witness
That Infinite Warfare OpTic team was scary. Remember watching it live. They made other teams look like amateurs
This current optic Halo team feels the same way. I think only Faze and SSG have a chance. Sentinels need to prove themselves before I can put them on the list.
Love this video! I've only recently got into call of duty eSports and these videos really help fill gaps in the history of cod🙌
Great content about Formal! I followed him all the way back since his Halo Reach career!
The FPS GOAT, another great documentary from Breaking Point, love this stuff. H4F
Everyone talks about Scump, Karma, & Crim. Formal is in that conversation off the sole fact that he played multiple games.
Great video guys, congratulations. Really hope this gets the viewer numbers you deserve 👌🏼
My favorite player to date to watch and learn from across all the different cod titles. So happy to see him succeed especially under the green wall banner where he belongs 💚
He's worthy of the first ever full feature reenacted movie in theaters about esports. His rise to glory would be amazing to watch.
That Seth tweet was gold🤣
Ogre 2 is the GOAT, and it's not even a debate.
great video, really well made. I knew he was a monster but this really solidified him as one of the greatest fps controller players of all time.
The most final of bosses
Thank you, Rab. Great stuff.
Love seeing that pic at the beginning where he's playing but also has a TV show playing to the side. That was my entire youth lol.
Infinite is low key such a great game. Sure there can be improvements. But at its core it’s so much fun
Great editing and rab smacking it up as usual, great vid guys x
Just won another tourney (HCS Fort Worth 2023)
Honestly probably the best console FPS player of all time.
“Formal realized…. He wasn’t washed” 😂😂😂
I hope the man himself reacts to this
Well done on this video. You told his story brilliantly 👏
I remember thinking that attach was gonna risk it and run through the artillery. And he did
Loved this video. Great work Breaking Point & Rab!
We need a following into formals story in halo his wins
Scump yelling to formal “you sexy man” 😂😂😂😂😂 w videos bro
My idol in the gaming world and the reason I started taking it seriously! , truly the greatest Of all time 🐐
Scump formal enable and crimsix was my (and im sure many others) favorite optic roster ever! Theyre teamplay was unmatched in that era
I don't like the way you characterized OpTic's BO4 season. They were top 3 all year and made winner's finals at champs. They had a fine season.
Great work guys! Hope this blows up.
One of the greatest FPS gamers
Wow ... Great production ! Amazing job ! Formal is a LEGEND !
Formal used to get slapped in H3. I remember playing against him all the time. He was always a good player but he really didn’t come into the professional scene until reach came out

Lucid is called scump 2.0
@@xMexicanxK oh so its not just me? I found it really trippy watching those scenes of them playing together looked the same as formal and scump
The greatest "fps for console" player of all time
Formal Crimsix and Enable were all pro in halo and played all together in Optic Cod (Fun fact enable has no thumb in one of his hand )
Truly the greatest FPS player of all time.
another bang we love to see it
This is such an awesome video. Absolutely love Formal, favorite player to ever do it. Let's fucking go.
Jet packs was the best cod to watch ever!
Formals final transformation is Jack Black
Damn I just watched this and it made me so Proud to be Formal Fan (Go Optic) Bleed Green Forever! Amazing stats you put up. Amazing.
I came from the future, he's still goated, just won the HCS Charlotte Major.
Thank you
For the wonderful video
We love this. Everyone at Breaking Point are kings, especially my tactical daddy
FormaL didnt have a place on Optic's COD Green Wall but on the Halo side, he does.
Missed his final Halo event where he actually won with aPG at the Halo 2 anniversary invitational.
Ok you mention it later 😆
Formal is forever the OG of competitive fps. hes just that guy. he it
Formal has to be the only player of all-time in Esports history that is top 25 in two different Esports all time
2:23 seeing Ninja was kinda funny hahah
Ambush with Pistola was nasty

formal really is the goat. cannot be denied
I realize why I've never heard of this guy, he plays Call of Doodoo
It’s crazy that that team couldn’t adapt to boots in ww2 because they had “relied on gun skill and ability” - they had C6 and Karma!!
Formal was so fun to play with and against.. he was flat out disgusting! Miss those days.
Goosebumps the entire video wow formal what a ride it’s been

He's pretty good at Valorant I wouldn't doubt this man would've been competitive at CSGO as well
talking about beating optic while wearing a optic hat is wild to me
Honestly optic should’ve got Atleast 2 out of those 3 rings but having champs mid year was absolutely criminal in ghost and Aw for formal
Crimsix was also a halo pro
Fantastic summary of formals journey from skinny young boy to fat young man
Damn didn't know he join fear with phizzurp. Rip phizzurp legend
Extremely well done. Kudos to u sir

gotta love jack black

seems formal just got burnt out at the end. Hes a legend.
Lmao I remember playing with him back in 2008 thrash AF.... into a Fkn God.... the man is unstoppable
Snip3down is the goat. Most of the people here were still in diapers when Snipe started.
Pistola has 23 chips, I miss the guy.
