I understand the argument about the XP, but I wouldn't pass on that Beast Mega Tome for 1100 tickets, purely for the time saving reason. Also tomes are not counted into daily XP cap.
Depends how many stars you get when you purchase unit or leader, if you get 2 stars for 2200 tickets in case you purchase unit it is worth as that is worth 180 gold.
mega tome is 5 charges. And you can see in your collection level how much you will get. I get this some of exp just by playing pvp. But I think the path you choose is purely subjective. There is no or wrong
or just wait for the last day and buy what you can with the total points earned with the guild. I don't think many guilds will earn the maximum points.
I did not go this way almost at all. I did the tomes they are the cheapest way to go up levels. The small tomes at my level (49) each of the 3 is worth about 590xp, and the mega tomes are around 5 for 5900xp each. I did get the energy to get to the portrait, but im not sure if you should get it beyond if it is the cheaper option. The reason for this is since, at the end, your leftover tickets will convert to arc energy, and if it is at a 1 to 1, the purchase price of any energy is too much. As for the 10k+ ticket ones unless you are in a verry active guild it is not happening so dont bother. Since we do not know what the conversion rate at the end i suggest using your tickets if you can.

I spent alot on it at this point (the game) and now I'm not so much , new pc was expensive doing ow right now then probably back to wow soon. Pc i got from walmart filled by new egg(ABS Tempest Aqua High Performance Gaming PC - Intel i9 14900KF - GeForce RTX 4090 - DLSS 3.5 - AI-Powered Performance - 32GB DDR5 6000MHz - 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD - TA14900KF4090-3) got from wally for 4yr warranty. At this point, I need energy like it is going out of style, all save deep breath(dont have), are blue at 50k, save the new mini. Had to fill a legendary one which is a pain, lol and 2 more once I finish the last of hm and ony. :)
I try to buy the epic core every time I see them on my shop for 1k. However I still lack these cores for my troops. Am I the only one trying to farm epic cores?

The mega tomes are really good value. Yes exp is farmable but time is money, friend!
