Pair Marantec remote with MLine 4500 garage door opener // how to

I had to swap antennas in my mline 4500 garage door opener to the other side because the antenna in one is not functioning. I swapped it, but the remote wouldn‘t work.
I found out how to do it and thought to maybe save you some time in case you have a similar situation.

Newsflash! My Marantec M4500 was working from the wall switch, but not from any of my remotes. I tried new batteries in the remotes to no avail. When I swapped antennas from one garage door to my other garage door, the problem seem to be with the antenna so I figured I might need a new antenna. Looked online for a new antenna and they basically unavailable; decided as a last resort to spray some deoxidizing electronic contact cleaner (“tuner cleaner” us old guys call it) on the four little prong contacts where the antenna fits into the controller unit. Boom! Everything works fine….all the remotes now function, and all is good. You might want to give this a try if all else fails, it worked for me.

PLEASE HELP.. I have a marentec remote and im trying to add a universal remote to the motor but anytime i add one it deletes the other. I tried holding both buttons down in hopes itll program both but no luck. Is there any way to program another remote without the 3prong without deleting the previous one?

I tried it too and can‘t do it with mine. I guess mine are so old, that was not an option, lol. It deletes the other others for me too.

It did with mine. I tested two remotes and the only one that would work was the last one I programmed.

I have 3 key fobs, all of them was successfully connected thanks to your videos! A few weeks later 2 of them stop working, and I tried to reprogram, was able to connect only 1 at a time, not all 3… what’s the trick here?

I‘m not sure. Seems like if they all successfully connected before, there shouldn‘t be any issues. Maybe try changing the batteries just to be sure.

My two remotes have worked fine until today, the red light on one of them stays steady and the door opens and closes at random.
I put another battery in and when I push the button the red light came back on and did the same thing. Remote hasn’t been dropped or wet. Any ideas?

Question: I’m able to pair one remote doing exactly what you are saying . It works fine . But then the second remote gets unpaired. I do the same with the second remote and then the first one gets unpaired. Any help??
