What's your initial thoughts on this trailer? Winner?
Seems pretty good so far, have you seen the Mount Massive teardrop trailer has bunks for the kiddos.
Looks great...
It’s a winner for sure.
I like the kitchen area a lot! One of the things that brought my attention to the TB was the kitchen and this doesn’t disappoint.
Have to look them up. The cost on some of these rigs is as an eye opener.
Kevin and Sarah, y'all are an inspiration, not just for overlanding, but as to how life and family should be lived!
Aw, thanks so much! We definitely don't have it figured out but we're trying 😁
No matter how low I am, just watching your episodes every time, completely gives me a 😊😊😊thought's, absolutely love the travels, the new trailer was exactly whar I fully expected for the family, 10:51
That's so great to hear. It's one of the many reasons why we do what we do!
We have this trailer and it is the bomb! It has gone everywhere we've asked it to go. Good luck trailer hunting!
❤ is amazing you guys ...very inspiration...keep safe . this trailer is better and big ...nice
We are in a Hiker 5x9 EOR and we love it.
Yes, nice touch; looks great, take care😎🤣⭐️🤩
Good luck luck with this new chapter.
If you get a trailer like this I would recommend looking into rear airbags for the added weight. Instant infinitely adjustable rear suspension.
Looks great for your beautiful family adventure. ..god bless you all...much love from india ..
Liking the new trailer, just a bit jealous over here 😂
Lol I had the same CEL on my wrangler last week and it cleared itself. The trailer looks awesome
You look good with a hat on you should be a hat model
Love the new trailer and your video. We bought a 2017 GX last month. First step new Faulken Wildpeak tires!
Congrats on the new ride! We love our Wildpeak MTs 👍
Always enjoy your adventures , gonna try that stroganoff recipes .
Your p0456 code with a toyota IS fuel system related. I work at a toyota dealership and it is most commonly a loose gas cap.
Your empty extended range tank would explain it coming up occasionally.
The emissions system runs tests a few hours after the car is shut off, explaining it coming up on startup. It is testing to make sure the system is sealed, but with the extra variable of an extra few gallons of air in the system, its parameters think there is a leak.
Or there is a vapor leak.
Or a pressure release valve on the extra tank plumbing.
It is almost certainly what you think it is. Keep clearing it 😂😉
hope to see you on the road sometime.
you will love the trailer hands down way more than the turtle back. We have the OGT expedition 2.0 a similar trailer and will never go back to anything else. Enjoy!!!
Kevin, more than likely you need an auxiliary Vent or evap system teed into your long range tank. Depending on year make and model sometimes after you clear the code do you want to open your gas cap for a few seconds if you have a Capless tank, it helps to put the oem filler funnel in there to open a little door.
It's tied into the factory EVAP system per the LRA installation instructions. IMO, they need their own EVAP canister but Australia isn't too concerned about designing a system for us 'mericans. We just have to work around it, lol
Trailer looks great 👍….. and tell Sarah her hat looks good on her too! 😊
Thanks! And will do!
Cross between a Mantis and Patriot camper trailer. Good looking functionality.
Nice trailer and I just love your music... sometime I feel I am watching a movie...
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I knew you were going to buy it! Congrats you guys
We didn't buy this one. It's just a loaner. But we're definitely working on next steps 😉
I’m a long time fan! Where is an update on the camper trailer?!? Lawsuit?!?!
I have the same set up with my 2014 Lexus GX460 except the rear bumper
Nice to see that area wasn’t affected by the fires last year.? Did you come in the back way from Winona? That is part of the Arizona BDR trail and the two track looks familiar. Love that area. If you are ever in Southeastern Arizona, there are a lot of nice place to see. My Graham has a lot of dispersed camp spots with nearby spectacular views, and Riggs Lake offers some nice fishing. There are a lot of hidden little spots out near Tombstone, and the back side of the Huachuca Mountains is just as great. There are mining towns, ghost towns and old west towns galore. Love seeing the whole family exploring! Have a great trip.
We drove through a few burn areas but it wasn't too bad. Thanks for all the tips too. Arizona has some amazing places we've yet to see!
Wow
Your videos are great ❤, but I really want more screen time for your camping location and activities and interactions with each other, and less time on the car moving to and from!
Overall I really like everything about this channel.
👍
What happened to Turtleback? Something similar to Overkill Trailers in Bend, Oregon?
❤❤❤❤
What year is your Lexus GX 460? Great setup!
I miss Flag, and the Cinder Hills. Do not miss the Lava River Cave nearby!
We did that a few years back and it was incredible!
Beautiful camper. I keep looking at Turtleback or Patriot, and have seen Expedition making more appearances.
How was tranny temps for the Lexus guys?
Just saw on another channel that Jeep Dealers in 14 States will only be getting 4e Wranglers thanks to Stellantis and California!!!
Yes, no Cook Partner stove! I do not understand why they are so popular . Their flame control sucks. They are rugged, but not needed when hard mounted in a trailer.
Ha ha Caroline that’s why is cast-iron skillet so I have her over 100 years old and still going strong
Patriot camper mate!
I have the same issue with my 2009 Jeep Commander and LRA tank, it's just not part of the original design, it will pop this codes FOREVER!
It seems I hear this more and more from LRA users. I think it's the void of the 2nd tank causing lower pressures and making the emissions system think it's a leak when it's really just extra space in the system.
@@LifestyleOverland At this point I don't even care anymore, I just reset. I have changed caps, lines and even the EVAP can. The LRA is just not engineered for these modern vehicles. The range makes up for the headache. Btw, I sometime have fill issues, requiring me to xfer because I cannot fill the original tank unless I transfer. So I have to make two fuel stops before I get underway.

Hello
Lexus or the 4 runner? All the best from Arkansas.
I wish I could afford one of those trailers
Looks like a great trailer and probably on the higher priced end?
Yes, they're over-the-top on engineering and construction so the price reflects additional costs. 👍
Hello you know when this gonna be available in your site? Lifestyle Overland BruTrek Adventure Coffee Tumbler
Working on another batch now along with a 32oz for those slower mornings 😁
So, is there another trip North in the cards with the new trailer? You had a number of spots marked to return to, so????
Just borrowing this trailer for now but if we get our own... We've got sooooo many places to visit and revisit!
A loaner trailer... like Trail Recon's Patriot.
So my hopes of you going back to a TB Expedition are diminishing. So when is the move to a Power Wagon? That trailer is pretty big.
Not sure what you're driving at here. It's not our trailer but we're considering one.
No, this isn't much heavier than our old Turtleback Expedition so no immediate plans for a full size.
We're gonna let the dust settle with Turtleback's drama. Rather work with a local family business.
Great vid. What utinsil holder / strap is your wife using for forks spoons knifes
Here's the one we're using: amzn.to/3NfJOYW
I’ve also made some questionable trash choices at that exact Walmart parking lot lol
Haha!! I bet they've seen it all!
@@LifestyleOverland I bet they have. The portable security tower thing they brought in made me feel real “safe” too. We were there a couple of weeks before expo with the extended family. We left for Alaska the same day expo started, but we dipped our toes into the literal water up there to start planning an #epictrip someday. Inside passage via cruise ship, but we did rent a car and get up into the Yukon for the day. And so the addiction has begun! 😂
Like new trailer . Little to expensive for me. I looking off grid trailer
Aboutthe code, why dont you ask ScottyKilmer. Probably the pressure differences on a none standard addition is tripping one of the anti polution devices measurement out of range.
I'm pretty sure it is exactly that. The empty aux tank makes the system think there's a leak when it does a pressure check. 👍
@@LifestyleOverland maybe also check and replace the cap? Its notorious on subarus and vw to trip codes. Cheap fix to replace... cheers from jerusalem.
I know it’s not camping but while in Flagstaff have you ever gone to meteor Crater?
Yes! That place is INCREDIBLE
Lol, my wife and I just went 2 weeks ago for the first time😃
Where’s the noodles for the stroganoff?
She did rice this time but I definitely prefer noodles myself.
Loose gas cap will cause that code as well
Only does it when the LRA is mostly empty but I'm replacing the caps anyhow just to see if it improves. I'm 99% sure it's seeing the pressure dip due to the large void of the 2nd tank and thinking it's a leak.
@@LifestyleOverland Perhaps a re-calibration will resolve this issue from happening. Was it ever calibrated to the larger tank?
I'm not aware of a calibration process for Toyota... But that would definitely help things.
Whats that trailer cost? $80,000?
I’ve seen them in the mid to upper 40’s.
Cracker barrel Tn heritage? Never! Waffle House all the way 😂😂
Cracker Barrel started in Lebanon, TN and isn't nearly the same animal as waffle house 🤣👍
Problem with those overland trailers is they want $40,000 plus. Not worth the price.
It takes an unreal amount of materials, engineering, labor, and overhead to build something like this. I promise you they're not getting rich off them. Whether they're worth it or not is up to the individual 👍
