4:17 For intemperance torment. The one he explodes depends on which part of him is glowing. Glowing head means the top will pop first. Glowing floor means the bottom.
Very good addition - I was in a prog group on day 1 and after dying to this several times, I was called out and asked if I even knew what I was doing. They questioned if I knew the order and I said bottom to top, everyone got all harsh and claimed it was top to bottom... I left the group feeling quite discouraged because I was certain I saw the bottom one explode first and didn't think to consider it might be random.

I had 4 attempts where it was bottom first and assumed that was the pattern, but the group called me out and even said I’ve never done a savage tier (despite my Hyd weapon) and kicked me out after insulting me before I could even reply because I play on a PS4 where typing is slow as hell. It sucked not even being able to explain or defend myself, it was labeled as a practice party too 😂

@@kypr5545Why players get salty for learning or practice parties I’ll never know. That last one in the circle seems impossible to me without a static but I unlocked TEA so anything is possible.

9:58 It's actually not random Ilya, if he's channeling into the ground, it goes Bottom>Top. If he's channeling in the air, it's Top>Bottom.

@@Nimoot around 5:50 he says the red mage "made a mistake", but the red mage was the only one who soaked the north tile during the second crystal. If they didn't do that the entire party would get a damage down and take massive (lethal?) damage. Poster has info on how to actually do the mechanic in the description. I think

Glad to see i was right in some mechs and my party was wrong... we failed blind practice.
You could solve a 2ice/1fire temperance this way, which is arguably the simplest, but someone is going to eat a damage down if you do it that way. The “correct” solutions involve doing rotations for this pattern.
either rotations, or having one dps and the OT doing some switches so the whole party doesn't have to be involved

I could be wrong but i feel like if your RDM resolved his cubes correctly during first intemperate , no one would be north for 2nd hit.
If the RDM had resolved correctly he would have gone north. He had cold first, and northside was fire for the second hit.
Instead he went mid, and that's what caused his damage down when he returned to his original tile.
@@Calvlath I agree with Potato.. you can see V.V. is in bottom left, gets ice then goes top (the only person in that cube) and gets the fire debuff. When he goes back to his own space he has a fire debuff again. He could have stayed in middle for purple and avoided and just gone back .... but then no one would have taken the top square, so it seemed like he had to sacrifice himself so the whole party didn't take massive damage. This mechanic might require someone being designated scapegoat to make this work smoothly every time? Or I'm sure there may be a way to do it so that everyone can get full DPS, but I'm not smart enough to break that down hehe
@@Maple_Chicken in our static we ha two people change debuff every time and then exchange square (if needed) so we always have at least one person north and one south

So Players can stack in the same Square at least u get ur Element? I have seen the reaper was with another player in the same square
First explosion: all squares need a player. Middle does not need any players.
Second explosion: middle top and middle bottom need at least 1 player. Multiple players can be in the middle top and middle bottom.
Third explosion: all squares need a player. Middle does not need any players.

Is it absolutely necessary to spread out by timers for four fold chains? I feel it’s just a simple dynamo an chariot mechanic with a tether if you stand too close
we didn't spread by timers. just had everyone go to a position depending on if it's in/out and then stay there for the whole mechanic. not sure if we just got lucky though.
5:23 "someone needs these anyway", why not yourself? How do you decide who actually takes the 2nd ice debuff and who goes middle?

Do you know why only one of 4 people who get the red chains (1st phase) also gets a red debuff marker? In case of the purple marker it makes sense - this will be the person that the other 3 people will be chained/tethered to, but why exactly is there one red marker? I would understand if there were 4 so these people would get an early warning to go to corners, but only one gets it 🤔
thats why you set partners for each corner, if you see your partner get purple, you run to the corner and take the place. If both of you get no debuffs at all, you have to have one person volunteer to go to the corner to receive the red chain.
The red will tether to the players fatherest away from you
From what ive seen so far in PF i think it become Standart to play a Braindead Strat on the Crystal mechanic. Which results in a Dmg down for the MT but the rest of the Patterns are literally braindead cause everyone has fix positions everytime.
The "normal" Strategy is a rotation clockwise but for that you have to know which one explodes first......and since we all know PF Memes i think the Braindead Strat will be the go to for PF Groups.
If people are too dumb to rotate they shouldn't be doing this content. I'd purposely wipe a party if they forced a damage down on me so they didn't have to think
@@JJS-wd7ed PF in a Nutshell. Ppl also played Ilya Strat on E8s till the End of the Tier even if he himself said muliple Times that there way more easier Strats out there with more Uptime.

I keep seeing Fourfold Shackles as a prog point in PF groups and based on this video I don't understand why. It looks identical to the first time he uses shackles except it hits multiple times?
It's actually easier than the first time because people get explicit markers - on the first one (especially in PF) there's "uncertainty" as people without any debuffs adjust. With fourfold its literally clear where you go.
@@deanoldfield5356 Only big issue is when two red try to go to the same spot. Then you have two very confused WoL trying to adjust because too close with a Red debuff is hella bad.
You can't bait chains.

i have to say this fight is extremely easy compared to all the 1st fights from eden raids.
This is not a good guide to be honest...You explain why things happen, but not how to do it/ figure it out. pf is hell atm cause of 500 strats being done and this helps not at all
is day 2 calm down you gotta be grateful that someone is AT LEAST explaining something lol you must be new if you expected a "complete guide" this early on the tier XD
