Olly Steele are riff machine 🔥 I miss Olly sound on the band. Mike out from Monuments 2015 and back at 2019. i hope someday this man back to the band too.
Olly is a super inventive and flexible *musician* with serious chops on guitar. Interesting to hear his solo stuff after listening to lots of Monuments and trying to sense where the riffs and arrangements were from his influence.
DEFINATELY MY FAVORITE MODERN METAL PLAYER. BOTH OF MY FAVORITE PLAYERS IN THIS GENRE ARE FROM THE U.K. OLLY STEELE & ANDY JAMES. GREAT PLAYERS, SUPER IMPRESSIVE. I REALLY AM AMAZED BY MATTEO MANCUSO, BUT HE'S OVERKILL SOMETIMES. AND ANOTHER GREAT PLAYER I APPRECIATE IN EUROPE IS OLA ENGLUND, EXCELLENT CHOPS.
@@Rayrichards_101ve you heard his solo work? The man is a genius, monuments clearly lost a gem and people didn’t even realize it until it was too late.
Man everything that Olly plays just sounds so rhythmic and melodic at the same time. Even when he’s plays just chords. God damn Olly. What a legend.

I remember my first Ibanez was a POS and I loved it. It was so spanky and jangly, it's gotta be the way Ibanez makes guitars

He definitely has a right hand technique 😮. Aggressive but controlled
It’s like the monkey’s paw of metal. So impressive.
