This month was genuinely fantastic, 4 games from the wishlist, all 8 I want to play. Probably the best month I ever had from Humble.
Four from my wishlist as well! Mine were Outer Worlds, Temtem, Roadwarden, and Merchant of the Skies. Usually, I'm lucky if I get one from my wishlist. Which ones were the games you were looking for?
@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews Mine were Temtem, Shotgun King, Kraken Academy and Outer Worlds. Although Outer Worlds was more of a standard inclusion, and the other ones would've been in the list too if I had seen them before.
As for which I'm really looking forward to play, it's roadwarden and shotgun king. I do wish to play all 8 though.
Let's go!!!!!
Claimed them all.
Shotgun King-played a couple runs of this and I like it. I like the runs are on the shorter side.
Merchant of the skies-with some more work this could be a great game. I feel like the menus are in the way and the points you made in the video. Decent casual game.
Kraken academy-put a couple hours into this.... Couldn't figure out what to do next...lol. Bad at these.
Glad you made it back home safely 🙃. Thanks for the videos!
Yeah, I do appreciate when the runs are short in a rogue-lite. Absolutely hate doing a run that is really long in a game like that because I know I'm going to die eventually and need to get back to that point.
Not sure what you were playing with but I found using a controller made the menus a bit more bearable with Merchant of the Skies.
Haha, I get what you mean. There's a lot of backtracking and trying to figure out where to use the items and whatnot. Normally, I don't think I'd be into that (not of fan of that in point-and-clicks) but the writing here made me feel like I'd want to finish the game.
No problem, K! Thanks for the kind words!
Good stuff. Thank you
No problem, man!
Nice! I'll have to grab a few of these - nave played Outer Worlds on release, and Roadwarden might actually be my speed as well :P
Nice! Would love to hear your thoughts when you get around to them, man!
I'm glad to hear you made it alright to Japan!
It really is a good month. Thanks for the video :D
Thank you! And no problem! Any particular games from the bundle you've been itching to play first?
@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews Well same as you pretty much! I was really happy to see Outer Worlds there as well as it's been on my wishlist for a while too! There are a few other games there that I'm looking forward to play too. All in all I hope Humble Choice keeps going this way cause this month and the previous month seem to be widely accepted as good months :D
@@VicTerri6 For sure. Although, maybe I'm a tad cynical, but I'm not really sure if this month can be topped. They still have 5 more months to prove me wrong though. And I hope they do!
Great review Stealthy! Glad you enjoyed this month as well- was definitely an instant buy for me :D
Thanks, Nard! Any game(s) in particular that you were really itching for?
@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews I've had my eyes on TemTem and Remnant for awhile, and have had Outer Worlds and Yakuza wishlisted for awhile.... though.. the only one I've gotten around to playing yet is Shotgun King... so nothing I was really craving to play, but solid titles that will make great additions to my library!!
I got that Lone Wolf reference heh !! Again nice review, I'm glad I watched yours too 'cause the others I watched were quite negatively rated but I think I align with your opinion more 🤗
Thanks! Great minds think alike haha. Also, I didn't know this until just the other day but I guess they're going to be doing a whole reprint of the Lone Wolf series. Only have books 1-5 from what I can tell but was pretty excited for that.
@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews ohhh that's nice to know, thank you for the info 🥰
The real star of this bundle for me is definitely : The Outer Worlds.
Some of the indies seem quite good, and if they are not too long could really be great, as for Yakuza, I still have to play all the previous games and those are quite a ride to 100% so ... I'll need to gather strength... haha.
Outside of this, I recommend Temtem to anyone that want a more challenging Pokemon game, unfortunately the company behind the game isn't doing all the rights choices it seems and players seem to have lost faith in them, but the adventure of the game is quite lenghty and a lot of fun, and the best is that you can play it in coop with a buddy.
Thank you for your reviews as always, I was curious to see your opinion on this month! Even tho I personally didn't dislike this month, I'm still feeling like it was the weakest one this year, but that is maybe due to me owning Temtem already.
My favorite month this year remain March for now.
Yeah, it's definitely hard to really like a month when you already own a game. Had that issue a bit last month because of Remnant. But it all worked out because I was able to gift that version to my wife who didn't own the DLC yet.
Yakuza is something I've been meaning to get around to...especially now that I own the first 4 games, but yeah, that's a lot of time...
Obviously I don't think this is the weakest month, but at a glance at the months again, I think May was probably the weakest for me. But then again, maybe what I said in my review contradicts this statement haha.
Thanks for your support as always, Frog!
@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews Each Yakuza games take around 100h to completely end I believe, and if you just wish to see the story and fully enjoy the game it's around easily 30 to 40 hours ... I think ? So yes it is an insane amount of time to sink into it.
Well this year was packed with good months imo, and opinions isn't something that stay the same, so it should be fine if your opinion on something changed a slight bit !
Anytime mate, I'm looking forward to next month, It'll be the first day of the month too, so we're soon there! :)
@@froggedwolfgaming Holy shit! I didn't know they were that long...that's crazy haha.
Yeah, it's fast approaching. Kind of why I rushed the video editing this time. Wanted to get this review out there to give me a little break in between reviews. Still looking forward to it though!
Ozymandias is one of the best games of all time!
Not sure if I would go that far, but I'm glad that you're enjoying it so much! Why do you say that? Anything in particular about Ozymandias?
oddly ive heard a few people say this is one of the worst bundle's in ages which i find odd as i think its one of the best i mean why have no AAA studio attempted to make a pokemon clone? its a no brainer with how much money pokemon rakes in.
That's certainly true. I wonder why no other AAA have tried to do this at least in recent times. Maybe marketing teams say there wouldn't be money in it? Which is obviously ridiculous but who knows? Glad you're enjoying the bundle!
