I would strongly suggest against anyone paying $600 for a booster box of evolving skies. The price has risen extremely sharply in such a short period that it’s a bit sus. I own three boxes (paid around $220 each sometime ago) but it’s clear something shady is taking place here especially with amount of product still floating around

That’s not how the world works. As was mentioned above, basic supply and demand. There isn’t anything shady about. That’s how things work. You’re never going to get it less than what it is currently selling for unless it happened to get another release of booster boxes. Which would only decrease the price a little until it starts going back up again.

Nothing sus bruh, ES has already been discontinued. All the product floating around is not retail bruh thus driving up the prices.

Agreed that this is just supply and demand. More people are buying sealed for investment or collecting purposes. Lots of demand for ES. Also Umbreon vmax PSA 10 is seeing an increase as well with last solds around 1k.

1 - box openers - who are ripping and chasing
2 - very late speculators - spend $600 today to collect $1200 tomorrow
3 - new age collectors - who came in after release and started their BB collection and buying 1/2 boxes of all SW&SH (something i should of done with S&M a bit more but oh well)
4 - not a lot of well priced stock available - sure you might see heaps but a lot of it is well above the minimum price - with Ebay you can set for $1000 and store away and forget about it until it sells.
