- Here is the original intro of SRS(Street Racing Syndicate) on PS2.
I use the original intro and upscale it into 4K using AI upscaler and adobe after effect.
It was converted entierly into true 60fps !
The original music was used as well keeping the quality to the maximum.

Even though this game isn't everyone's favorite, that is one Kick-Ass intro, its better than ever on 60 frames per second.
I think it looks pretty bad and jarring (especially when it's changing cameras) with the fake 60 fps

For the time this was released, the year 2004 and NFS Underground was dominant with some of the "Rice" that was popular at the time, this was the most "Tuner" game i've seen in that time.

@@janchokiss well those "shitty" bodykits are actually based off of a real aftermarket bodykits at the time like blitz, bomex, vis racing, etc. And they're not at all shit, only a small few are
Both games have the same vibe, there's no "tuner this one and the other is a ricer". Underground was just fully detailed with how they want us to modify our cars, hell even a dyno tune too. You gotta give credit to blackbox for putting that at a 2004 racing game, not many has it.
Overall really, I love all the early 00s racing games. They have their own charm to themselves, one thing they all have in common is the flashy car trend at the time. Flashy looking bodykits, big wheels with wild body graphics, banging subs and the neons
It's just people nowadays have more egos and loves to criticize others as a hobby that's why cool things don't exist like they used to

Even though I don't enjoy this game as much as I use to, I can definitely say the soundtrack is still a bop.

Mastering high powered RWD cars in this game is takes quite a grind ngl
is like combination between Need For Speed and The Fast and the Furious 😁😁 that's my personal preference

just bought this game for my ps2 at a trift shop for 6€ and honestly its a lot better than i expected

Just wish you kept it at 30 fps instead of 60.
60 just feels wrong (especially once you start noticing janky interpolation in a few moments.)
You get used to it, especially since one of the interpolation artifacts in this one are really noticeable.

The intro is the only good thing about this game. If it came out BEFORE Underground 2, it may have stood a chance. Overall, it was just bad timing. By time this came out, we already had Underground 2 and Juiced 1.

Odd choice to revamp, but hey it does look a lot better. This game was so cringy lol
Sadly the original footage have intense blur and a super low frame rate which was not constant. I focused mostly on making a pure 60 FPS version, by removing the frame that was the culprit of the not constant original 25 fps. I can't do a lot when the original footage have intense blur sadly (since the AI can't understand what is going on).
@@whitecharisma1460 I understand. Forensic software is basically the same. Can only do so much with what is there.
Framerate did seem odd, but if the original was erratic then nothing can be done there.
