Great move, PT. I just looked at your other channel and saw that every one of them I had missed in the mass of videos on this channel. So glad that they are no separated out. Looking forward to more content.
I've been watching your channel to learn about your mechanics of using LOGOS and creating sermons, etc. to get an idea of how I might create Bible studies I can share. I don't know your theological beliefs, but, in this channel, that doesn't matter. I like that you are separating them because, even if I believe in the same way, I have a place to learn how to use LOGOS and prepare sermons or studies here without being bothered by your actual doctrinal beliefs. I subscribed to your other channel so I'll see your videos as they come out. When I watch them I'll decide whether I am interested or not. If not, I can turn them off and still learn from your study techniques. Thank you for giving us a choice.
@@PastorTanner I think you did for many reasons. Both channels will grow, I'm sure. Of course, one thing you can do is create your lesson on this channel where we can see you prepare it and then execute it in the other channel.
I wanted to ask this in email or private, but I can't find a link. However, it may be good for other viewers to chime in with their opinion, so here goes. The Request: Would you consider creating a special series where you teach viewers the basics of using the Free version of LOGOS to read the Bible, highlight text, and take notes. Then, build on the series to teach how to do an inductive study, ask questions and record the answers, etc. Then, continue building on what they have learned, a little at the time. The whys and wherefores: I see you are dropping one video a week right now. Unfortunately, I'm the one asking to add another wheel barrow of burden to your already busy schedule. You don't necessarily need to teach some of the use of LOGOS proper, as you could link to any short video explaining how to use it. If this is done in the current video to prepare your viewers for the next video, I think that could be helpful and time saving. You can focus on walking through the steps for your own choice of text. I also don't think you need to show every way to do something. Like Mr. Proctor says, you only need to use one of the many different ways LOGOS uses to get the results you need. I see nothing wrong with you teaching just your way of doing things. You or your audience could point to videos that show alternative ways, if someone desires. LOGOS can be overwhelming. The Bible can be overwhelming. I like what I see about what you are doing in John, but I feel like I came in the middle. I'm sure I'll understand more when I go to the beginning of your series in John and check it out. I haven't seen you go from scratch to completed sermon yet, so forgive me if that reflects in this comment. I'm going to look for it when I leave here. Instead of a live-stream, you could probably record this series and then answer questions in the next video or in another live stream. This might save time. Of course your other subscribers should chime in with their ideas so you can get a feel of what will best benefit your group. Thank you
You know, it's so funny - I was just thinking to myself "What if someone wanted to be a full-on pastor one month, and serve in the capacity of a layperson the next?" Logos seems poised to advance that kind of servant and service, too. You've gone into marketing.

Thank you! I hope to continue serving up content on both fronts. 👍
Appreciate the attention to detail pastor, I support this change
Thank you! God bless.

That sounds like a perfect plan. I think I will also try to showcase different methods of preparation week to week.
Good decision - Biblical Studies is the reason why I come here.
Thank you! Perfect. 👍
Awesome move!! I absolutely love it!
Great! Thanks for the feedback. 👍
Yessss!!!
I'm glad you are happy with the change!

Thank you. I will add this to my list of Logos specific content to create. I want to serve your needs!
Excelente información, estoy convencido de que los dos canales seguirán siendo de bendición. Bendiciones.
Thanks for the support!

You've gone into marketing.
The subscription model would obviously make that very easy.
@@PastorTanner What, going into marketing?
Hold that thought...
Great move
Appreciate the feedback!
I will take both please 😊
Much love to you, Jon! God bless.
Is this yours? Is this really what you think, or are you just about shilling stuff no matter what?
What do you mean? I’ve been a Logos customer for over a decade. I love the product and it has genuinely improved my life in innumerable ways.
