I have mine set up through the aux output but the issue I am having is after I make a call or after I answer a call the the sound goes off on whatever I was listening to and I have to go back to the Home Screen again and select an app either radio, Spotify etc in order to get the sound back. Is there a quick solution for this.

I have this and love it but haven’t figured out how to enable hearing calls? They can hear me on the other end but the sound only works on my end when I change it to speaker phone. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
I had to send mine back, I finally figured out the microphone didn't work. The replacement one works great.

I like this dash cam a lot. But, when I take out the sd card for playback, every other video is a snap shot. How do I keep it from taking pictures? Thank you

I have a few questions about this,
1. Does it work fine on hot days?
I had a rectangular unit few years ago and it used to restart frequently if it's a hot day.
2. Does the display brightness adjust automatically depending on light or you have to manually do it?

Hi. I have personally not tested it for a long time, but this screen is designed to work in extreme temperatures. There is an option of setting the brightness to Auto mode.

And how is the carplay performance in comparison to the carpuride?
It doesnt impact CarPlay functionality. CarPlay in general is more or less the same on all these screens. Carpuride is definitely a superior screen
@@MinistryReviewsSchaz ah good to know. Honestly I’m looking for a basic carplay for navigation, I don’t see the point of getting those android HU since it won’t be oem and messes with my steering control.
Also, I just found out that carplay relies a lot on phone processing power so if the carplay is not responsive then it’s an indicator to upgrade your phone? Haha.
One last thing, is it able to handle heat well like does it shutdown when it’s hot? Given it has dashcam as well, I would imagine it’s gonna be an issue with these things.
I have tested quite a few screens, that too during the extreme summer of Dubai, never experienced any issues. Though I never used it for a long duration, but I guess these are made for extreme weathers around the world
Hi, I purchased this unit during Prime Days though it hasn't shipped yet but after watching some videos on UA-cam I'm have second thoughts. What is your honest opinion, is it a good unit? I am primary interested in the quality of the phone calls.

Can this Lamtto play radio without it being connected to the car's audio system? Autonomously ?
It does not have a radio app, but you can play radio via Carplay or Android Auto systems
That means it doesn't have a radio module inside the device ? Will the radio run using phone resources? So if my phone has a radio module to run it without internet, I connect the phone to the Portable Car Screen using Android Auto and it plays the radio on the screen using phone's resources? So there is no way to connect it to your car speakers, correct?
There are several ways, you can do it via FM transmission, or AUX connect, or via CP/AA if your car has BT

Any reasons on why it’s connecting but will not show anything for CarPlay on screen ?
I didnt face any issues when I tested it. Try restarting your mobile and resetting the screen. On your mobile, try forgetting some of the BT devices not in use
That's because the carplay is on your cell phone if you bluetoothed it, read the screen or watch a video...
Is there anyway I can turn off the chime?
I'm sure there is, check the settings. I dont have the screen with me any more so I cant check it for you
What good is this comment section if nobody answers a question? It's been more than a month since I asked if anybody knows how to keep the dash cam from taking pictures after each video, and still don't have no answer!!

Got the same issue but for different model. I got the 9 inch RC13. Does work for my wife iphone or mine. Sometimes it’s connected, sometimes it’s not. When it’s not connected, I need to format the sdcard and factory reset.
