Great tutorial Straight to the point. Much appreciated. Would you consider doing a tutorial on how you made this hoodie and those draw strings? It's insanely well made
Thank you for a great tutorial! The rendered image on my computer is in crap quality, probably because of my computer. Would you mind sharing what computer you are using for this rendering? Have to buy a new one.
can you make a tutorial about how to create custom lights that will be more realistic ?? i know to create custom light but sometime its confused which light setup will be better
I will think about it. Reccomend you to watch Lighting course on Blender Guru UA-cam channel. It's not only for Blender, you can use all the tips in CLO3D.
Hi, I didn't run CLO on Mac with M1 chip so I can't say if it's a good choice. Mac doesn't support GPU simulation and rendering, that I use very often. Also the screen size makes sense. You will use 2 windows (3d and 2d) and an object browser tab permanently. They take up a lot of space.
Wow, thanks for the video! I loved the realism of the fabric, I saw that it is the one from swatchon, I downloaded it, but I can't find a way to give that texture to the inside of the garment. Could you tell me how you did it? Thanks!
Add a folder with downloaded textures to CLO library. Press the "+" button at the top roght corner of the library and locate the folder. Then open it and drag and drop to your materials in the object browser or directly to the garment.
@@MyDressPatterns Thank you very much for answering! You can't imagine how much I've learned from your videos. 🙌 No, if I was able to add the fabric to CLO, I mean the inner texture of the fabric, in my case it is the same as the outer part, and I see that in your case it is left with the texture of the reverse of the fabric, with those mini loops that are formed in that cotton fabric.
Oh, ok. I didn't get you. So you need to select your material and then select "Back" of the fabric in the property editor. It's the first option in the material section, over the texture maps. Then uncheck "use the same as on front" and add your new image textures for the back part. Make sure that you're in the Thick texture surface mode to see it in a 3d window.
Can you do a video about rendering turntable images. I tried it and the video wasn’t very fluid while the garment was turning, it was very noticeable one image to the next. Thanks.
Add additional light sources. For example rectangle light. You will see the line going out from rectangle that shows the direction of light. Rotate, move and place it in a 3d window so the line goes through or near the target model, as you like, experiment with it. Adjust intensity and color in the prooerty editor. I'll probably make a video on how to do it later, but generally that's it.
When you add a topstitch you can choose it's shape in the property editor. Single, overlock, bartack, etc. Also you can add a topstitch from the library. There are a lot of different overlock types. Go to Library - Hardware and Trims - Topstitches.
Best tutorial on CLO rendering I've seen so far

Thank you 👍 is it also possible to render a full dressed up person with human model rather then 1 garment ?
Sure. Just unhide the avatar.
@@MyDressPatterns thank you 🙏👍

Please tell me where to find the cards on the wrong side?
Do you think macbook air2021 with 16GB is proper for running clo3D??

@@MyDressPatterns Ok, and what texture did you select in your video?
It is not well written because I am using a translator. I'm from Uruguay
What version of marvelous you used in this tutorial? I use marvelous 9 and i dont have menu for render my project :(
Render is only available in CLO3D
@@MyDressPatterns OMG i’ve been thinking all this time both of them is the same application, thanks for the information 🎉
Good afternoon. How did you make the wrong side of the fabric like a real fabric?
It's a texture. I added it to the back side of the fabric. You can adjust adjust front, back and side of the fabric in the property editor.
@@MyDressPatterns Thank you very much
nice
Why it takes me 1 houre and I don't have this clarity of render ??

Render more images. At least 30 images per 1 second of video. (30fps)

이러면 이미지로 뽑히는건가요??
Can I get a tutorial where you made this outfit from scratch
I was working on it but the war started. So I can't finish it right now.
Where can i found the file of light please
You need to make it. Just place a few rectangular lights around the garment. It's the easiest preset.
What's the version of it
It’s 6.1.422. You can always check CLO version in the bottom left corner.
how did you made this overlock stitching?
When you add a topstitch you can choose it's shape in the property editor. Single, overlock, bartack, etc. Also you can add a topstitch from the library. There are a lot of different overlock types. Go to Library - Hardware and Trims - Topstitches.
