great tutorial! At 5:51, you mention to hover our cursor to the center of the circle skirt pattern. My laptop wont show any form of hovering when I move my cursor over the circle. Do you know why by any chance? Thank you!
update! I actually found it! I am using a mac and discovered that in the 2D window, I had to turn on: "show 2d measurements" in the 2d information panel. Great tutorial!
Just got to know about clo 3d and before invest myself into it i want to know if the model is always the same standard measures or can be modified to personalized to the actual measurements
Do you add print (textures) or a new fabric? If you add a fabric from the library not only the print is changing but also the physical properties. Check it at the bottom of the property editor. If you like how the fabric looks but you feel like the volume is not enough you can just change physical properties to something stiffer.
There are no standard sizes like S, M, etc., only American sizes like 6, 10, 12. They are in the library, Avatar folder. But I would recommend to create and save sizes that you need manually by setting up measurements in the "Avatar Editor".
This is CLO. Marvelous and CLO are created by the same company - "CLO Virtual Fashion" and have the same technology. The difference is in some tools and modes.

It’s surely enough to use as a 3d visualisation but it falls short for photorealistic renders.

You can modify the CLO avatar to a different size/measurements. It doesn't always look good but you can use external avatars as well.
Why is Clo a clone of Marvelous? Is it the same company? I'm confused.
Yes, both are created by the same company but pack slightly different set of features at different price points.

Where can I get a custom avatar?
Make it, buy it, use Daz3D or Character Creator. Basically any object can be avatar, not only humans.
