I am currently 25 turning 26 soon I wasted my early 20s working dead end jobs and choosing the wrong major. Now that I am going back to college since 2022 I have chosen business major since it’s the one I really want to pursue a career in finance. I still live with my parents which is ok for me but it is looked down upon by my peers but f*** them they don’t know what I have been through, the childhood trauma I endured but now I am a grown I have cut toxic relationships with people and some family members (most of my cousins). I have learned to move in silence and let my actions speak louder! I am on a spiritual journey and I am trying to better myself with the path I am going for. I am gonna bet on myself to take action on my plans to execute the goals I have set out for myself. I have to make my own path to be successful I have too. I can’t let myself down and be stagnant.

Grew up in a average city went through some rough shit at 17 years old friends came up with the idea to move to Arizona , best decision I ever made . Literally moved away for a year and a half and the one time I come back some fuck shit happened and I ended up staying for like close to 2 years then moved to california for a couple months trynna shoot for the stars only to end up moving back home . Then I tried AGAIN , left for a week and came back …. This time I’m 23 years old I’ve seen the luxury of the 1% lifestyle and how to not only get there but now I’m
At the point where I’m just working to get there while
Now being disciplined in my day to day life to maintain it. From 18 I’ve met and hung around guys who pretty much had the lifestyle I wanted they had the money and the cars and could talk good game from pretty em much any female they wanted . I’ll say to those who are shooting for the stars . Keep working and grinding man and you will get there . Once you get there remember what got you there to keep you there. Nobody ever told me you could get lost in the sauce . And that’s a real thing not even talking about partying or drinking etc. you can literally get lost in the lifestyle your living and sooner or later you’ll question yourself “ wait a second why am I here ? I know I grinded to get here but now that I’ve been here for a minute what’s next “ that last part is ultimately will decide on if you move back home or if you keep pushing . Keep pushing . Had I not moved back home I would be so much farther . Stay down grind hard and don’t tell anyone you’re moving until your about a month out. Once you say it people will doubt and talk about it until you show them. Once you show them then all of a sudden they become supporters and number one fans. Fuck that and them . Play hard , work even harder ! You got this young gents

If I could do it all over again I would have joined at 18 aimed to get e5 asap and invest the whole time while you're in. You'll be ahead of the curve after 1 or 2 contracts and if you pick a job that can translate to the real world you'll be debt free in a career. I joined at 26 got kind of screwed with the pay for almost 2 years and I still came out with about 40kish networth. 1 year out and I'm at about 70k trying to get to 100k by my 33rd birthday and 300k+ by 38. Joined with student loan debt and by the time I joined bootcamp I had just enough to pay certain bills and have less than $100 in my checkings.

It should be a crime to kick your kids out in this type of economy. I have 2 kids (12 and 16)
Set your kids up for success by letting them stay and save. Teach them how to invest and save and live below their means, taxes, and budgeting, and having discipline. Have them show you a monthly budget and accounts to make sure they apply what you teach. Heck even make them pay a little rent each month and then secretly keep it all and give it all back to them when they do leave the nest as a gift.
If they chose to leave thats one thing, and if they leave at 18 we should be supporting them (not financially), but its not like it was in the 90s when i was 18, either. And i have no debt and a paid off house. These kids toady at 18 have ZERO guidance are paying 50% or more of their take-home pay on rent and stand no chance.

Add on top of getting unsolicited parenting advice when I’m just minding my business is irritating, knowing the way I was raised lol. Wow thank you for this video. I feel like being on your own and being independent itself is easy. Its when the people at your workplaces secretly conspire against you while smiling in your face because of jealousy or immaturity and affect your life and finances by kicking you to the curb is what is difficult to deal with. Exactly as you said, undervalued but one of the best performers at the job. I have to believe it all happened for a reason for me to move back home even though it wasn’t by choice. The world literally beat me down, and at the end of it all I had was God because everything was taken away from me. I have grown a lot in my faith while living at my parents house. It hasn’t been easy, but I know God still loves me despite it all. Thank you for this video. I feel i’m very independent and good financially, but the world hates the chosen while also admiring them. This is just dumb advice. People if you can stay home with your parents then do it. STAY HOME AND STACK YOUR MONEY! Thats why most Americans are struggling because they always want to try to keep up with the jones and follow what society says. Staying at home has done wonders for me and has allowed me the chance to pay for my first home in cash and vehicles paid in cash! You keep listening to what Dave Ramsey says. This man is a real estate investor so of course hes gonna tell young adults to leave their parents house and get an apartment because oh let me guess....it improves your physiology. LOL the dumbest thing I ever heard. Let me tell you what improves your physiology. Staying at home and stacking your money and not having to settle on making payments on an apartment paying on something you'll never own when can stay at home and save that money to create assets. You should read the bible instead of listening to what man says ( Dave Ramsey) biblical speaking one isnt required to move from their parents home until they are actually married anyways. Yall keep listening to what modern society tell yall they gonna have yall broke.
