I’m excited to finish my mountains are calling quilt and stitch it up. Thank for the great ideas!! It’s for my sister in laws new house in the mountains.
Susan, your live and unscripted videos are a tremendous asset to have! I love being able to watch over your shoulder and listen to your thought process as you work on your projects. I am learning so much. Thank you. I hope the quilting world finds your channel.
Susan, I prefer free-motion quilting both as an activity and as a quilting treatment. The automated quilting looks too commercial and though it is creative, it takes away from the "Artfulness" of a quilt. The act is a valuable meditation. The sound in the background can add motivation or calm. The mental process is an exercise for the brain. Thank you for your hard work.
QQ Susan love your quilting and teaching. I have gotten so much from watching you. I would like to know if you use the polyester thread or cotton for peicing your quilts together . I love the polyester for the quilting it has really made a big dent in the amount of lint in BQ20 longarm, . Thank you, Rachenea Eagle
Hi. I am piecing a quilt that was completely cut out by my best friends mother, who recently passed away. I thought I wold give it back to her.. It is a Labyrinth in queen size .
I believe I was using the 9" straight from A1 quilting. I've been unable to find it for purchase lately, but I found very similar ones from Quilters Apothecary. I love the handle shape particularly.
@@StitchedBySusan Thank you for your response I am interested in the rulers with handles thinking it might give me better control I have a sit down machine and figure I would try it. Do you know if these are 1/4 inch thick? Thank you again for the information
Thank you so much for the quilt show❤️
This was very helpful. I don't have a long arm, but just finished this quilt and needed help in figuring out what to do.
First time catching a live. Julie from north central ND
You sew those curves effortlessly and consistently. I’m so jealous, Susan. Beautiful!

I haven't found any new videos. All the ones I'm watching are at least t a year old. where can I find them on youtube? I am subscribed
Check out my playlists, or use the sort feature to pull “newest” to the top. I bet there’s a UA-cam video that would walk you through that 😉
Hello. Where did you get the side long clamps that you showed in the beginning? I have been looking for something like that.
They're by the Red Snapper folks - I ordered mine from quiltsonthecorner.com

Pretty! I've never pieced one of those...but I've quilted them 😄
What kind of marker are you using on the sun?
It’s an air-erasable marker. Most of my UA-cam episodes have a link to them in the description.
@@StitchedBySusan thank you very much
What ruler are you using
