I have the Marshall on their older frame as well as this Pintler, which I bought as a "bag only". For an upcoming mule deer trip, I plan to stow the Pintler in my larger pack and swap it onto my frame for use as a day pack. To me this is the best scenario as I have the large bag for hauling in and out of camp, but a smaller bag with better pockets for keeping things organized while spotting, etc. I also use the Pintler as my whitetail day pack, so I'm glad I have both!
@gearfool I hope the added weight makes it worth carrying the second pack. I'm subscribed to your channel and grateful for your content! Headed out west for the first time this October, and your content has been really valuable!

Thanks for the video! If it's in your budget, there are much smaller and lighter options for your tent and sleeping bag. I've gone three nights in a popup 38, which I think is close to the same size.
@@gearfool I just ordered it yesterday. I watched your video a couple of times and it was one of the key contributors to deciding in this one. Thanks again.

Hi Joshua. There's an approach we haven't thought of. Thanks for adding your $0.02 here!

@@thomashector9455 Happy we could help 👍
Why didn’t you used the overload feature ? It greatly improves Pintler carrying volume
It does! In these videos I was simply trying to show the capability of that bag, and compare it with the other options they offer. -Brady
