I am thrilled that you are playing this game …thank you!!! I subbed to your channel for tips on HFW, which helped a ton!! And the humor, refreshing, as always.
@@chazmatazzgames Oh yes, definitely. So far, I love it. I hope you are having fun with it as well, so you can keep those tips coming… or just have fun with it. Thank you for posting these tips, I know it is hard work.
I’ve started to skim read reviews, so many are just attention seeking tubers who feel negativity to any game gets them the most hits. Instead i watch guides and tips such as this. Thanks for the positive vibes and help to play the game. Good to see people enjoying it. I am appreciative of the time put into this
These are great! What I really want are tips on what I can get away with when being stealthy. I find I don't do a lot of actions for fear of being seen or heard by the others in the area, but then I'll accidentally do that something and it actually didn't disturb or make others aware after all! Lol. So I think I'm making it harder on myself!
Nice video. I agree with you on the fast talk. Only time I've found it useful is when I wasn't paying enough attention, and someone surprised me. One thing I've noticed though, increase health from stealth takedowns doesn't work unless I'm misunderstanding something or my game is bugged.
Thanks for the tips. Love the game, a good chill game. Found fast talk, then stun to do a quick back to stealth. Maybe multi stun I'm guessing might be available later
Fast talk is only good when you can one shot with the stun gun or ion or blaster bolt. I went to Akiva last in my first playthrough and it's not that important to get the electroshock prod. It helps but only in the later end of the story since the frequent heavies you will run into that you need it for is the Hutt heavies mostly. Depending on difficulty setting, it's easy to whistle around corners or high grass to get one npc attention. Melee downing around corners is very easy as long as you whistle at the corner and not further behind the wall. I tend to whistle, then retreat back to a nearby corner, then attention with nix, then takedown sometimes. Most often I distract, stun gun from a distance. By late game, you should be able to adrenaline rush from stealth with certain outfits easily and ambush. I don't use smoke bombs much because it's very small cover to retreat in. Even the ion grenade doesn't help much in the current state of the game. Throwing a grenade is faster to distract than a smoke bomb. Nix distract, with stun gun on 2nd npc, to takedown works really well. Much faster than trying to melee takedown two npcs.
I've found that the trick to getting Distract on its own is to use it more to stop the target than to try to face them a particular way. If you watch a patrol path for a bit, you can almost always find a spot that they'll put themselves in a position that you can take advantage of, and if you get Nix out in front of them just before that, they're pretty easy to deal with. It also seems like it's a lot easier to Distract a target the further it is away from you, but that just might be experience bias talking. Also, at least in the case of the Gamorrean guards, if you have Nix attack them, you can knock them out without the shock prod.
Nooo....dont turn off Nix prompts. If you send him to trigger a detonation, it might take him longer than expected to get there. Keep them on and spam the L1 to trigger it when the enemies are nearby.
I like to keep the Nix prompts on because sometimes I accidentally sent him to a bomb instead of to fetch something and I like being able to back him off the bomb so I don’t trigger it accidentally
btw you can get 3 pieces of gear for stealth, health recovery, and adreneline recovery from seperate sources. Including fast crouch speed and harder detection.
One problem I found with the whistle when you're using it Outdoors is that when your using it outside you don't know if you're going to get a whistle or the Speeder bike is going to show up
On Xbox I realized I needed to long press the button to make sure it was only the whistle. I learned that after too many times nearly decapitating myself with my speeder and alerting everyone to my location!
On outlaw or scoundrel difficulty this doesn’t work too well. Non stealth melee combat isn’t as effective as shown. Fast talk + stun on single target. Fast talk + stun + nix attack on multiple targets. Nix distract is effective but it needs to be used as a distraction preemptively planned because it takes Nix a moment to get in position. His upgrade to distract multiple targets is his best upgrade on harder difficulties. From there sneak past or sneak up behind them and as soon as the takedown pops up stun the opposite enemy then straight into the takedown for the first. Whistle behind object needs to be done at a right or acute angle from your position. If the enemy is at an obtuse angle they might see you as they walk toward you.

That’s such a huge compliment! I try to keep the vibes positive 😄 it’s a really fun game!
fast talk + stun works for me for not getting caught :D
Same here. Stun seems to be silent as long as no one sees the body.
Same
Every single time. Beast last resort combo.
And you can change the blaster skin to recharge the stun shot
Thank you for an upbeat positive take on the game. I am enjoying it heaps and just say poo to the haters.
🤑
I’m loving the game too.
I love the game just started it just wish I could fix Kay’s face and body and make myself a sexy scoundrel

Great video, thanks! Early in the game, but loving it so far. These tips are super helpful.

Really like the way you approached the presentation. Subbed.
Great video and commentary. Thank you.

I discovered the whistle & distract combo works better than using both commands on their own.

Super helpful stealth tips! Thanks, Chaz!
Any time! Glad you find the video helpful!
my nunber 1 tip is be patient..do not rush.
100%! Patience is key

Using attack and the rush them take out 3 when u add stun shot
Nice!!
I will get thos eventually...look forward to it but really don't like she can so easily melee stormtroopers with their helmets on
Don't forget you can cheese the stun shot by switching skins on the blaster...
Sorry for asking...but how can i move the camera far from her...when it's inside a building....all i see when she run's it's her hair.
This video was just worth it for stealing comlinks.
SPOILER but one you unlock the ability to have Nix set off grenades on the enemies you can do that over and over and almost never get caught

Folks been hatin on this game a whole lot but truth be told its not a bad game at all, folks are just way to knit picky about shit
I hate the forced stealth bc there is no save once inside a mission
Thats literally the name of the game when it comes to stealth games.
