So, most cockpits and control parts contain a reaction wheel. If the mass is small enough, it can be enough to control orientation. And, well, if you can roll'n'stuff, the wings do the rest. If you want to see how sound your plane really is, there are ways to turn off the reaction wheel.
I think that the one thing that gave you pain was the placement of your wheels. The trailing gear should have been significantly closer to the body allowing your plane to pitch up during takeoff. Also, I think it would be hell trying to land it. Other than that, what a wonderfull idea and what a lovely little craft. Obviously I had to build one straight away. Thanks!
@ArchSQ3 xd Well, I'd like to see a base soon. Also, if you go to Eve one day, this might be hard, but I'd think you should build a base in Eve clouds, which is like what we can do at Venus. I'd think it would be cool, but that's just me. I can't wait for the moon base.
I wouldn't say on the clouds, but above it's theoretically it's possible to build a base in the clouds of Venus, but it needs to withstand horrendous conditions of 93 bar pressure, 467°C temperature, and sulfuric acid rain. Which is possible, and NASA did something like that and did a simulation to see if a base could withstand Venus pressure and heat, and it did, if i remember.
id reccomend not using your inline cockpit, and replacing it with a regular one if you're going to use fuel tanks/engines on the sides, and assuming subsonic flight, replacing it all together with a free-standing seat likely would be better. also, what mass did you get, as the 1.8 ton ssto vtol craft by stationblitz is rather small
Wait do you mean stratzenblitz? Can you send me the link to his video because the only one I saw that is remotely that small uses bugs to fly around. Also this is just a pure plane, not an ssto or supersonic. Just a small manned plane

Ahh okay that makes sense 😂

That’s very true! I probably need to go back and rebuild some of these later on 😂
I had to like it. This is a great video. Keep it up! Also, do you plan on colonizing planets and moons?
I think I’m gonna aim for the moon next couple of videos 😂 I haven’t even built a ship that can go out of orbit yet, or at least intentionally☠️

I made one smaller using the chair cockpit.
Oh that's sick, I haven't really experimented with the chair cockpit yet

I think the mass on this is 1.8 tons as well I’ll double check though
Always great to see someone having fun in a game I love so dearly. I subscribe, Make sure you click that bell 🔔
Welcome aboard! Welcome to the OG squad xD
i have made smaller
