I don't know about Elon Musk, but if y'all come to a serious model rocketry meet, I can show you how to go well over 5000' on rockets much less powerful than these. Heck, breaking the sound barrier isn't terribly difficult either. How's that for awesome?

Coby's Rocket, (according to the 280mph and number of frames the rocket was in powered flight - 11 frames at 30 fps) hit 34.75 Gs, or 1119 ft/s^2. Idk what kinda motor you had in there but it was stupid powerful. That probably explains why the chute didn't open, cause you smushed the rocket down so hard. N10,000? Loved the video, and I love seeing this kinda enthusiasm and main stream excitement about something that's always been my passion.

I haven’t asked my buddy yet about which motors he used. But I’d guess they were on the stronger side of an I motor or a weak J. Level 1 is H and I. Level 2 is J, K, and L. I actually plan to launch a rocket on a K motor at the end of this month. Should hit around 9000 ft.
