Always there is no comparison when come to services between most Asian or Middle East airlines vs the US. JAL PE foods are practically the same as in the Economy. A few minor differences for long haul flight are that in PE you can have a nice small bottle of champagne as well as JAL special Udon cup, which is fairly delicious. However, the Business class seat is definitely way more comfortable. It may not look much bigger but it does and you cannot beat fully recline experience! The food service used to be on demand in business long haul last I flown a few years ago from DFW to NRT and it was excellent.
Hey man, I agree, flew it couple times and can't lie, the premium economy was definitely so worth it. However, when I flew JAL their food was always amazing, so I think ur right, its a hit or miss food wise.
It was an amazing experience, so comfortable and I cant believe how good the service was. Going to fly with them for a long haul flight to see if their food is any better in the future
When it comes to the food, the same food is served in both Economy and Premium Economy. Which is why, if you're flying PE, the food doesn't seem amazing. But when flying Economy, the good is great! Especially on a fully serviced long haul flight.
Oh, and the experience at Haneda can be a different experience depending on time of day that you arrive. My London - Tokyo flight arrives at 07:30am, and I am often through immigration and customs within 5 - 10 minutes!
Hey bro, how was the heat in the cabin? Were there personal air vents? I wanted to come to Japan but overheat easily so am trying to figure out if I should book JAL
Hm, I honestly don’t remember. It wasn’t super cold at any point though. I would say the temperature was consistently around 71/72 degrees most of the flight
Hi Sam
I agree, JAL PE seat is brilliant along with excellent service and food. I would definitely fly PE with them again.
@@WalterBrown-j1t it’s honestly one of my favorite airlines

I figured that was the case, thanks for the feedback
How difficult was it to get out when you sit by the window?
Easy, person next to you doesn’t even need to get up. There’s about a foot and a half between the seat and the entertainment screen/tray
