Dame is like the Go to guy when your trying to break into the industry because regardless of how he comes off he knows what it takes to make it happen and will push you do so without compromising your brand . But once you reach a certain level if you want to grow at a faster pace it’s almost necessary to cut dame off because people like him don’t believe in short cuts & rather take the long way (independent) or no way . When most peoples goals are to eventually get to the short cuts to the top Dame refuses to take

Friend of mine had an interview with one of the Big 3 Tech Companies. The interview was 8 Hours of rotating sessions with each department. If ONE person from ONE team said, “No, I can’t work with him,” you were put out of the running. --- Dame definitely empowered a lot of people. However, Dame has a certain way of doing things, a certain way of Talking, and a certain way of viewing accounting / the money in the bank…… KanYe said a word when he said he chose to go with JayZ after the split, “because he wanted to learn how to talk to people,” from him. Communication is so important that people will literally leave money on the table to find someone they prefer to work with. Beans said a word when he talked about how the money from his Pro Keds deal was being flipped in Dame’s name instead of his own. Jay ain’t said a word… but everybody knows that magazine deal, that dipset deal, and that Reasonable Doubt Masters situation was 3 of the strikes before being out (not mentioning the alleged Dame Dash party for Alpo). Many sides to every story.

+++I've listened to a lot of Dame Dash interviews and as a neutral I couldn't work out why someone who talks a lot of sense wasn't more successful. This is the 1st interview where I see what the problem is.
Dame doesn't listen and is always angling to move the discussion onto familiar territory that makes him look good. It's difficult to deal with people whom always think that they're right and don't play well in teams, but also don't know how to manage people under them as leaders because he takes people's confidence away and must be exhausting to deal with on the daily - especially if he's the one paying out of his pocket.
