From a wolves fan, he could be world class. Teams would have to pay at least 70 million euros for him since we bought him for 55. It would be a miracle if we keep hold of him next season
€70 isn't enough. Start at €80m especially given how much was spent to get him. Look at what's happened to Palace without Olise. For smaller teams, finding good attacking talent is so difficult. The wealthier bigger teams don't have that same issue. They have the resources to pay the fees and wages plus obviously the prestige. And if one big signing fails they just go buy another one. In addition to getting the best youth players from smaller teams too. I have zero sympathy for these big teams. If fans of them have an issue with that, they should tell their club scouts to do a better job find talented cheap players. The big teams had a chance to buy him. They didn't. Wolves took the gamble so make the most of that return on investment
I think he might stay at the club for 1 more season next year but if he has another great season again next season which he probably will then he probably will leave the season after 100%
He has the world cup to think about, somehow he's not getting noticed (even though Joao Gomes is) so he may force a move to a bigger club for that reason. He's made it clear his only real ambition is to play for Brasil, he was devastated when he missed out on the copa america
Another (small) part to the first goal against Fulham is that it had been raining, the ball was very slippy. And yet he controlled a 50 yard pass effortlessly. Ridiculously talented player
With regards to that first goal Cunha scored, Gary'O'Neil mentioned that when they realised Lemina was going to be playing as a CB, they started working on making space then making deep runs in behind when Lemina has time and space on the ball (Bc he's good at long passes). The manager deserves a lot of credit for platforming Cunha for success.
He's a #10/#9 hybrid with a lot of resemblance to Firmino albeit with more of a goal scoring output. Feel his partnership with Strand Larsen has gone under the radar because Wolves were getting beat despite their endeavours
@IvanRyzhenkob Benzema can't retire Ronaldo. Benzema is arguably the best striker to me because his finishing is unmatched when he's serious. But Ronaldo has finishing and more. So no. Not even Lewandowski can
I’m going to watch this on mute, go to my happy place, and pretend that we’re talking about Zirkzee - blissfully unaware and full of totally-not-misplaced hope
Gary has fully entrusted Cunha and for very good reasons. Sometimes people say he is out of position but I genuinely think his creativity can be so far beyond others vision that it may seem that way. This team will only get better if they can make a good CB acquisition in January who is comfortable on the ball. Wolves aren't going to win games with clean sheets and they have to embrace it. They play with aggressive WBs in Seemed and Ait-Nouri who can embrace the chaos.
First goal was dele alli esq with the run from deep - what a ball off lemina though playing as CB, he was fantastic. With Cunha Gomes and ran I think wolves have the most flare in the league - it's just like watching Brazil!
As a wolves fan He really is a rare talent and as a fan in that away end his goals are unreal and as someone who has spoken to him a few times away from football he’s a genuine nice guy and we will probably lose him at the end of the season but until then I’m just enjoying watching him do his thing
Enjoyed that the man played with a smile on his face he's really quality . even the clip on TV where he's talking to ball boy . hope he stays at wolves ❤
Outside the top 6 ? The best, including the top 6 Fosun need to pay him whatever and build around him, Joao Gomes, Ait-Nouri, Semedo, Doyle etc Fosun - get rid of the dead wood and splash the cash.
Gary O'Neil has paid the dues in English premier league working with a limited squad not like Brentford and Nottingham forest. Cunha is the new brazillian Wayne Rooney 👌
Players like him and Havertz are so crucial in the right setup. To have such a wide skillset at a high level can sometimes be more valuable than being world class in half, or a third, of the same number of skills
hey dude love your vids, would love to see or hear ur thoughts on soler during the west ham newcastle game, i found it fasinating watching his roll during that game
He is currently keeping the manager in a job! God help us if Shi caves in in January! Ibelieve he willbe gone to UTD in the summer new manager with lots of money to spend! 80 mil+ be intetesting to see what the release clause will be in his new contract
You summed it up, patient play (euphemism for f slow and tedious) and scared of shooting...hahaha the beautiful game, my arse, opium... thankyou wolves for making football great again lol
So we are just gonna act like Salah didn't try to shut Cameron Archer's flame by celebrating with his bow and arrow celebration. Something mental is up with Salah he rarely shows it but it is there.
I wanted Chelsea to sign Cunha over Omorodion or Duran in the summer (although the other 2 have also done brilliantly this season, I love everything about his game and he’s a very versatile player who you can put upfront but can also play in the 11 alongside Jackson
As a wolves fan the last couple of seasons have been a hard watch. But Gary and Cunha have been a breath of fresh air. He plays like prime Chelsea era Eden Hazard. Sad to see him go in the summer when someone comes and offers us 60m for him.
Start actually watching football instead of waiting for points on a screen then mate. Even in that case he gets a goal contribution every other game for 5.5m the only better value is Pedro

70m that’s cheap as chips 😂100m please

Arsenal will get him in January for 60. You will take it and you will say thank you.
Another (small) part to the first goal against Fulham is that it had been raining, the ball was very slippy. And yet he controlled a 50 yard pass effortlessly. Ridiculously talented player
Would add strand larsen has become a great facilitator for cunha, constantly holding up the ball and occupying the CBs

Lemina played as a CB because they had a lot of injuries in that area. Manager used it to his advantage though, deserves credit.
o’neil is a decent coach makes changes when needed to and has a good game plan at times
He's a #10/#9 hybrid with a lot of resemblance to Firmino albeit with more of a goal scoring output. Feel his partnership with Strand Larsen has gone under the radar because Wolves were getting beat despite their endeavours
I see him as a Bellingham
Benzema maybe, for 2/3 of he’s career he was playing something like that role and had flair, he’s back foot passes were insane
@IvanRyzhenkob Benzema can't retire Ronaldo. Benzema is arguably the best striker to me because his finishing is unmatched when he's serious. But Ronaldo has finishing and more. So no. Not even Lewandowski can
been waiting for a Cunha breakdown for awhile from you thanks Jim. WE WILL NOT GO DOWN UTFW
From a Wolves fan, love this James!
I’m going to watch this on mute, go to my happy place, and pretend that we’re talking about Zirkzee - blissfully unaware and full of totally-not-misplaced hope

Starting runs from deeper gives his teammates time to recognize the run and make the pass. I don’t know why more forwards don’t do it.
Is Joao Pedro one of the similar players you’re thinking of doing a video on too? If so, the yes. Do the video!!
matheus cunha’s on my mind and he’s scoring all the time 🙂
Outside the top 6 ? The best, including the top 6

THANKFULLY
I'm a Wolves fan.
He's Special
Newcastle fan here, that QPR top is class.
Hes so underrated united should of bought him instead of Zirkzee
*should have
And no they absolutely shouldn't. Leave him alone
Everyone rates him though
lovely jacket that
Very good analysis James. Well done. Always Wolves…👍🐺
Brilliant analysis, exceptional indeed.
Why cant 'bigger teams' use their scouting system and find their own gems.. leave ours alone
Hes so good🔥

A player so good he makes Gary O’Neil look like a genius coach.
The guy is pure class in every way.
Mario's ball over the top completely BAMBOOZLED Fulham😂. Beautiful.
hey dude love your vids, would love to see or hear ur thoughts on soler during the west ham newcastle game, i found it fasinating watching his roll during that game
Cunha is fucking class
Yes! He is!
Don't expose him need him at wolves for another 10 years 😭😂
He is currently keeping the manager in a job! God help us if Shi caves in in January! Ibelieve he willbe gone to UTD in the summer new manager with lots of money to spend! 80 mil+ be intetesting to see what the release clause will be in his new contract
I wanted him at Albion, but we got Rutter so i dont mind.
I'd love Cunha at United as the left-sided 10 in Amorim's system
Nice jacket Jim
I wish he was Brazilian, it'd be nice to see he plays for the Seleção...
He is Brazilian.
You summed it up, patient play (euphemism for f slow and tedious) and scared of shooting...hahaha the beautiful game, my arse, opium... thankyou wolves for making football great again lol

You have like 15 attackers on the books! Stay away. Neto hasn't done much so far with you.
@ Neto has been excellent, just starting to find his feet
He is too good!!!
JAMES WE NEED A BREAKDOWN OF LIVERPOOL VS REAL MADRID IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
In need of a joao Pedro video
Praying for this video to hit the 2000+ likes 🙏🏻😊
I think he’d be a great attacking number 8 at arsenal
Arsenal doesn’t do smart business like this
As a wolves fan the last couple of seasons have been a hard watch. But Gary and Cunha have been a breath of fresh air.
He plays like prime Chelsea era Eden Hazard. Sad to see him go in the summer when someone comes and offers us 60m for him.
He has large Cahuna's
Say fwapapa one more time...
Arsenal should buy him
The new Bellingham
the way he plays reminds me of salah
Goat hope he resigns with a 150m release clause
His giving Firmino vibes
Fein
Please let's hit 2k likes
Yanited are going to destroy his career next summer...
it’s comical you haven’t made a video about spurs pumping the champions 4-0
Cunha has cojones
Palmer ain’t a striker either lad
Welcome to Arsenal!
OVERRATED
And I've got his lame strike partner in FPL 😂
Start actually watching football instead of waiting for points on a screen then mate. Even in that case he gets a goal contribution every other game for 5.5m the only better value is Pedro
He's a bit of a diver.
