My 2019 jeep Cherokee Laredo is doing the same, I stopped twice in the middle of crazy intersection and it was very dangerous, had to get a tow home, I know my key fob battery is low, also saw some videos on how to disable the automatic start up function It’s a little plug the battery, it will leave a light on if you don’t care
I use the Self Start on Key Fob. While Outside the Car. Then once car running. Get in the car without foot on Brake push the Start Button. Car should engage as normal. I been doing this for now work ok. Have to do this to start the car every time. Eventually need to be Service
Mine does the same but it still turns on and runs fine, everything just sometimes it doesn't start, do you think the battery is no longer pulling at 100?😢
@@lilben4588 ok cool. I’ll check on that. No way an engine with only 88k miles on it suppose to be giving out this early when there was routine maintenance being done on the car especially since I got it.
@@lilben4588 that’s crazy. Then they telling me I got a blow head gasket all because coolant spills out of the reservoir when they opened it. There was no leak anywhere before all that happened.
@Jeep do you see this 😂😂😂. I have the same issue. Engine freaking locked up. Now apparently it’s a head gasket issue. I really hope it’s not since I just got this car about a year and a half ago and only have 88k miles on it.
I am having the same issue with my jeep right now, replaced the battery and its still doing it, checking my starter now. might need to put a new starter in it.
damn this is making me cry, im struggling too, check the starter relay (don’t know here the hell he is but i have a video of a guy with a corroded starter fuse!
I changed the battery and the starter a fuse and the battery terminal out of over $1000 for parts and label break pedal still very still won’t turn on or crank still been down 5 weeks does anybody have a solution ?
Literally the same issue on my 2015 Cherokee. 1) I changed the battery, pcm but still didn’t restart on the way back home. 2) The brake peddle was rock solid, the instrument cluster is on and drained the battery while the car was dead. 3) the battery cable sparks when I tried to reconnect the cable thinking they might be lose. There is no way a new PCM can fail, less of a probability. I am guessing it is either the starter motor or the push start button system itself. Any comments anybody? BTW it is at the Jeep showroom in Canada being expired by the Jeep scientists who are only good at ordering parts which any idiot would do.
Step for step guarantee to work. You gotta press the start button 5 times…. Press the brake 3 times while holding the stereo system power button. Hit the start button once more (it won’t turn on yet). At this point exit the vehicle and kick your front driver side tire 2 times & slam the door just loud enough to where you’ll draw attention to yourself. Re-enter the vehicle and try the start button again. Divine intervention may now start it. If not, exit the vehicle and do the sacred chant that you will *never* (emphasis on the “never”) buy another Chrysler product again. Throwing in a few cuss words may help. At this point a vehicle with a family of 5-7 people will stare as they drive pass. Give them a fully extended middle finger. Next pop the hood and then proceed to pretend you know what you are looking at. Pull the oil dipstick out and throw it in the bushes. Now call your wife/child who last drove the vehicle and berate them as this surely was their fault… it drove fine before whatever they did. Hang up and sit back in the vehicle with your head on the horn. … realize you bought a Chrysler… this shit ain’t gonna start.

Yeah definitely the battery mine is having the same issue auto stop light came on changed the auxiliary battery and it was good to go
