I've been to Hoover Dam a few times now since I moved out here, but it never ceases to amaze. The guided tour reveals a lot of little known info that I didn't include because I didn't want to spoil it for anyone. Definitely worth it. Thank you for watching!
My family took the tour in the 70's and it was free at that time. I returned about 1980-82 and it was full. Went again in April 2019 and was saddened to see the water level so low The high water mark makes me think of a "ring around the tub".
I bet seeing Lake Mead full made for a fun visit. It's startling how much it has fallen, even in my 10 years of being here now. We've had a bit of hope with better-than-average snow / rain over the last two years but it's still a dire situation. Thanks for watching!
