How far ahead did you book your tickets?
@@mccorca 2-3 weeks in advance. We also went during a non-peak season (December) so I’m sure you’ll want to extend that time if you’re thinking about peak season. Even with that advanced time the seats from Chur to Tirano were almost sold out… from Tirano to Chur it wasn’t full at all.

I love how the mountain's looks in the snow, but if the views are obscured, I'll probably plan a summer trip to see the views without the snow. 🇨🇭
That's true -- It was beautiful, but we couldn't see anything. Unfortunately it was cloudy / raining / snowing our entire week in Switzerland. That's a perfect excuse for me to go back in the summertime!
@UnscaledTravelShow I was on Pilatus today and was lucky enough to have a perfectly clear day, I could not recommend it more. You should definitely go back in the summertime if you get the opportunity to.
Im going to luzern in 4 days, and i hope the weather is good, although I do like how the snow looks.

My family took the tour in the 70's and it was free at that time. I returned about 1980-82 and it was full. Went again in April 2019 and was saddened to see the water level so low The high water mark makes me think of a "ring around the tub".
I bet seeing Lake Mead full made for a fun visit. It's startling how much it has fallen, even in my 10 years of being here now. We've had a bit of hope with better-than-average snow / rain over the last two years but it's still a dire situation. Thanks for watching!

I've been to Hoover Dam a few times now since I moved out here, but it never ceases to amaze. The guided tour reveals a lot of little known info that I didn't include because I didn't want to spoil it for anyone. Definitely worth it. Thank you for watching!
It's actually called the Nu River. It means River of Death I learned afterwards named by American Indians.😅
