i think he just interest with the scenario but he not a good choose with who he play the drama! like a song jong ki, who now about him is he not play a drama with song hye kyo! i think descendant of the sun can be a popular is because a song hye kyo, i feel the dots its not so good, the story so ordinary! i hope lee jun ki can more selective too choose the co actress!
I dont think he couldn't pick whoever to co-screen with. it was not his decision to make. Yeah most of the dramas he was in didnt have great actresses to pair with him, good but not great. But the his choices of scripts were not bad. I enjoy most of his drama. it must be because the target group of Korean audiences is housewives and their taste is for romantic, sweet films. but again his films are great romantic+action flick. I dont know why his luck with rating thing is so bad. He earned certain reputation and recognition but he could have been more popular than he is now
decided to never judge a drama based on Korean ratings. they have a strange taste. most hits in korean are cheesy rom coms which i don't hate but it hurts me when good deep shows are so underrated compared to them. poor LJG should be showered with awards for his amazing acting, yet he doesn't cos he's always stuck with low ratings 😢

I don't agree with people saying it gets dragging at parts because it was never dragging for me.. Also... daaaamn LJG is freakishly sexy/hot/handsome/beautiful in this drama!
