I'm quite surprised how bad it did on HW4 with 12.5.1.3, This does not fall in line with other tester videos that i have recently watched. there is something wrong with this car. i would definitely get it checked for your own safety.
maybe the reviews by fluffers are carefully crafted to avoid showing FSD weaknesses and failures, whereas this shows FSD the poor performance as i experience it. Teslaguy take it out on the highway at speed and pass, change lanes, etc. the fluffers always drive under the speed limit so no lane changes, etc. (I had another severe ghost braking today, suddenly speed limit cratered from 100 lm/h to 70 km/h, or the bad weather degrade in the sun..piece of garbage). Bravo to you Teslaguy, keep up the good honest work
@@lor8ancg I cant agree more, very nicely summed it up, i always thought about the routes selected by them to demonstrate how amazing this works on hw4.
@@SkidRow1983 I don't think it's the case... In the video you we can see Tesla can't read hand-gestures, or maybe it wasn't given enough time, as it's painfully slow in this situations. You can see it in other videos too. Other issues... I feel like they are more related to a driver. It's hard to buy a new car and let your wife (the person you trust the most) drive while she just made her driving license. Here we're talking about trusting some software we know it's beta and it can crash. It is definitely underperforming. I don't know if profile is not set to assertive or it's something else, the car is extremely indecisive. On the other hand, there was no safety-related disangagements. If we go back to version 11 or even 12.2, it was unheard of.
@@Plajerity yeap agreed on the hand gestures those are understandable and human intervention is required. I noticed at some normal turns it hesitated unlike some of the other early access youtubers. I don’t know if the route was tricky but will have to watch again. Im on the same boat as my wife got her license but im not comfortable to let her take fsd as i think it makes things very tricky. You not only have to react on surroundings but also trying to understand the cars behavior and both at the same time makes driving a nightmare for new drivers.
one of the only honest videos showing hte shortcomings. well done.
Valuable as always; thanks!
