Yall do know that 2jz motors can hold over 800 hp before having to build the block. 1200 plus hp is a norm with those motors. It is more than capable... What you see is turbo lag. I'm 100% sure it's gapping 90% of the LS out there. And you can't beat that inline 6 sound...
What you see is 183ci pulling 4500+ lbs. A larger, torquier engine can jump on this combo and ride out before that big turbo kicks in. The 2J can run a bigger engine down from a roll but from a dig it'll need nitrous, excellent boost management and anti lag, convertor and gearing. Traction control is mandatory with a combo like this.

The biggest problem with a 2jz is that it is a relatively small engine and does not make that much torque until the boost comes in and these donks are extremely heavy and those big wheels are hard to turn so he has to run a ridiculous stall converter and rev it up a bunch to try to get into the boost if not it will be a pig but once the boost comes on it will move out but it will struggle till the boost comes in.
