@@GavGamePad Yeah, I hate Jasperoid. I'd certainly give him a 1st place award for being the most annoying NPC in the game. Still, I can't think of many other comparable instances in SPM, aside from one moment in Flipside after Chapter 1. The part where Skeet informed Merlon about Peach falling out of the sky. (There were several textboxes of him just saying, "Umm... Umm... Umm...")

... Y'know, why *haven't* we seen more Sea Koopas around and about? The only one I'm even vaguely remembering was Kuzzle from Inside Story, and all that was different about him was that he was a pale blue instead of yellow. Maybe it's just that no Koopa has been willing to trade those boots for a set of swim fins... Would make one walk *too* slowly on land.
Not much else to this little intermission, really. Though I'm glad they tried to make the exhausting bit of it a little less tedious... though, I guess there's an emphasis on "tried". Frankie's ordeal now has his voice slowly get worn out as he goes on, which... I honestly do love that detail. (The updated speech sounds also make it sound like he's actually speaking the words when he "annunciates" them for the first few.) And hey, they made the ring absurdly obvious to locate, too, so you can save some precious seconds scrounging around. It's not a perfect setup, sure... but I guess it's sort of an apology for this whole ordeal in the past.
... The real concern is what kind of doomed-to-succeed marriage these two are going to have. S'pose it's a mercy that we don't ever see that unfold...

So about the Couples' Cake, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I think having the item made with a recipe or seeing the recipe in some news outlet counts in-game for Recipe completion in the remake, so it's not a _completely_ worthless prize?
9:50 Maybe Ms Mowz considers that room Goom Goom is currently in to be a dark alley? She might be encouraging him to leave and find a goomba girl somewhere else. He obviously isn't stranded there since he has no issue leaving after the rejection. So yeah, I think it's either that, or she's threatening to love slap Goom Goom if they cross paths in a dark alley.
