It's real easy to figure out the year. You just read the serial number and look it up. Nowadays you don't even need a book in your pocket, you just pull out your phone and go to tractordata. The tractor sitting next to this 1086 looks a lot nicer, on the outside anyway. Is that a rare Super 70 series? Kind of looks like one, but it might be a 60 series 88, I can't get a good enough look at it.
They did a really nice job with the installation of the cab kit on that 1086. It looks to be in pretty good shape overall. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

I always wanted one like that sitting beside it . Like that series ;3688,3288,or 3088 with cab n air . To me they where sharp looking tractors!

You're right on the T/A situation. Mine's been replaced and split in half 3 times thus far since new....
